Speaking of SJ, Timo Meier is a terrific young winger that is also probably available on the market. He’s not a C but still someone the Wings should have some interest in.

From a pure talent standpoint, the difference between Levi and Bresee is huge. Bresee has a much higher ceiling. I’m still very interested in him at 6 and will wait to see if the workouts or medicals change my mind. I do also put some value in being a Clemson DL as they’ve done a nice job of putting many quality guys in the league recently.

Speaking of pizza, I was at Buddy’s the other day and I’m happy to report they are back. There was a time in 2021 where they were really struggling. Their restaurants that used to have an hour wait at all times were completely empty, the menu had been cut down to just pizza and salad, and staff was minimal. It seemed that just as “Detroit Style” was finding a niche all across the county, the original was going to go out of business. Everything is normal again and glad to see they were back going strong. Don’t sleep on their chicken tenders. They’re not just for 6 year olds. As for almond boneless chicken, I think maybe it’s just a Michigan thing, and possibly even just metro Detroit. It’s still there at the many excellent Chinese restaurants in the Farmington/Farmington Hills area that I like to frequent.

Stick to sports. He’s too far gone when it comes to chili restaurants. There’s no saving him there.

FWIW, he’s one of the best face off men in the league.

You always pay more at the deadline than in the off-season. Does anyone really see this team catching fire and passing 5 teams for the right to make the playoffs and crushed by Boston in 4 games. I think they are best to sell or stand pat and make a splash in the summer.

Skyline is disgusting. Graeter’s Ice Cream is such a better Cincinnati tradition.

There’s no comparison between Burrow and Stafford. Despite not having as strong of an arm, Joe does almost everything better than Stafford did at a similar age. He doesn’t need to use terrible ownership and a bad franchise as a crutch. He goes out and makes everything around him better and wins. He’s the new Joe Montana.

Will come down to the medical. This is a super talented kid that was the #1 overall recruit in the country coming out of high school. His testing numbers at some of the all-star camps as high school kid were off the charts. He absolutely lived up to the hype as a Freshman and then had his injury struggles. There’s a lot of physical tools and he’s still so young that I can’t imagine he makes it out of 1st. If the medicals are that bad to drop him, then I’m not sure why he wouldn’t free fall all the way into day 3 range.

That’s awesome for JG but anything that has Joe Burrow that far down the list is seriously flawed.

All the Mayer mocks are national draft guys that don’t follow the Lions. On the surface, TE looks like a need after trading TJ but we all know they actually did better with Wright, Zylstra, and Mitchell.

I don’t understand this move at all. I was told repeatedly here that the tunnel was not the problem and it’s been there for 100 years with only 2 incidents. Why waste time and money on something that isn’t an issue.

We have parity! Should be an exciting final 3 games to the NFL season.

As a Silver Arrow fan, I’m hoping last year was a one off and they can find the pace again. Really, all rational F1 fans should feel the same way as a legit 3 team race for the constructors would be amazing for the sport.

Neither of us know how Goff would take it. Personally, I think If he has another nice year, we could go to him with a fat multi year extension with a shit ton of guaranteed money and he’d happily sign it and be the face of the franchise.

Much of this debate has to do with what percentage someone puts on Goff having another year like he had this year. I’m definitely over 50% but I want to see another year to put me in that range where I’m really confident that he’s the QB for the long term. I don’t see it as a big deal if others aren’t sold yet. He’s under what has now become a really nice contract for next year based on his potential production. Let him do it again for another year and then we can extend him and anoint him QB of the future. Drafting a QB now or not, doesn’t change any of that.
