This video outlines why this move today should be very concerning to Republicans and their efforts in midterms and beyond. I assume everyone knows Barstool Founder Dave Portnoy by now. If not, he’s been very supportive of Trump and the right wing and about as anti-woke as you can get. Hes got millions of 20 and 30 somethings that hang on his every word. He is the mouthpiece of frat boy culture in America. For him to break rank and say don’t vote GOP is something that would’ve never happened before. He even clowned boot licker Dan Bongino on Twitter who tried to get him back into ranks.

Great news! Nice bump in fee for Liberty too.

I already apologized to my wife for dogging on one of her favorite shows by calling the plot of The Handmaid’s Tale dumb and completely ridiculous.

A sad day for a country that prides itself in being the land of the free and the home of the brave.

At first look it’s not a big deal. The extra man is right next to the boards and they allow that all day. When you realize Kadri was the player coming on the ice and jumped early and played the puck, that’s a huge miss by the refs

The DNA is going to be Byers stepdad who died a few years ago.

Admittedly, I don’t follow NBA as closely as most of the board regs, so can someone explain why Ayton is the one to build the franchise around with Cade. This league is moving away from the physical center that can rebound and be a defensive anchor. I just don’t see him as a max player. He doesn’t have that valuable of a skill set that you see in max centers like Jokic, Embiid, or a healthy Anthony Davis. He doesn’t really provide any offensive except right around the basket What are some of the things that people like about him to want to make him a key part of the franchise future?

Wow. Look at those numbers for Trevor Lawrence and Saquon Barkley.

Phish is the epitome of a jam band which means they can bust into a 32 minute song to open a set out of the blue. I get how many people don’t dig on that. The core fanbase is odd and weirdly entitled and obnoxious. I definitely get how people don’t dig that. They are absolutely an acquired taste but once you catch the bug, it’s hard to let go. This band amazingly talented and Trey is one of the best guitar players alive. The live experience is unlike any other and I am still amazed they play each show without an actual set list. Trey calls them out they as they go. August 3rd at Pine Knob is their first Detroit stop in 8 years. It might be the last time here, who knows.

Very true. There are 31 teams in the NFL that only care if you can help them win football games.

This could be my least favorite post on this site (Archie included).

Billy is blowing up! He’s the new King of Jamgrass.

This kid finds way too much of the middle of the plate for our bats to go dead tonight

My Trumpy mother in law just sighed and made off hand comment about it being some type of new national holiday

Big props to Valteri Bottas. He's driving the hell out of that Alfa He might be getting more out of his car than any other driver.

This started as a car performance issue and if it stayed that way then yes it would be on Mercedes to figure out on its own. After the race in Baku, it became a driver safety issue and that will always be the first priority from FIA and F1.
-
That is not accurate. None of the teams spotted any porpoising in the wind tunnel during development since it only occurs at speeds faster than the tunnel can measure. It became an issue on the new cars once they hit Barcelona for testing. Every team was surprised by it and all had to deal with it to some degree or another. The decision this week for the FIA to step in actually hurt Merc. They are suffering the worse than everyone and now they can be forced to make changes to the car that will impact performance. The decision won't be their's anymore if they want to try and live with it during a race.

In my mind Toto made a comment back about how nice it must have been to suck so badly the prior season to throw in the towel and start new development early. Ferrari has taken very good use of this advantage but it appears Merc is starting to figure things out. It looks to be a nice battle for 2nd overall in constructors.

Weren’t the Rangers saying the same thing a few weeks ago.

I’m excited to witness Riley Greene’s first strikeout. I think he might even get 2 today.

Great to see 3 Detroit area high schoolers listed in Law’s top 100.

I am not sure that he deserves to be in demand after his time here. I am of the opinion that too much credit is given to GM’s of struggling teams doing what is smart rather than getting obsessed over the shiny object that managed Houston to 4 playoffs and 2 World Series in 5 years. I also feel the same way about the cheating. Fans make a big deal but it’s old news to the rest of MLB and will have no impact on stopping him from getting other jobs.

Having major league talent is not the same as being able to be a consistent major league player. Maybe 1 in 10 with the talent are able to make it up and stick. That number is probably far less for position players. This is a really hard game and most minor leaguers with major talent still fail.

Doubt Taco Bell at your own risk. They know something nobody else does. I’ll put their quants up against any. The pick has to be Johnny Davis. He’s going to be the best player in the draft.
