  1. I don’t like the difference between what’s a PI or holding call on the Lions and what they aren’t calling on Patrick Peterson.
  2. Big drive here. Let’s use some clock and get 6.
  3. Had that slow Achilles walk. Not good
  4. Excellent FG defense by Lions ST.
  5. Here’s a place to share our sacrifices to the monster. I couldn’t hit a parlay for my life yesterday. Hopefully today will be better. Dolphins +5.5 Commanders ML Colts +7 NYG -1 Panthers ML Irv Smith Any TD (+225) Skyy Moore Any TD (+600)
  6. If they see him as their longterm QB they would want spread his money out to have more to spend in the next 3-4 years.
  7. Matt Millen was fired 14 years ago today.
  8. What kind of finger injury keeps an offensive guard from sucking it up and playing? Buddy tape it and let’s go.
  9. I’d love the idea of Lamar with the Lions. Unfortunately, we can’t have nice things so I assume that he’d immediately suffer a terrible injury and never be the same if he came here. Through 2 games, Goff has done what he’s needed to do to become the QB of the future. If it continues, Brad will sign him to an extension and next QB talk will stop temporarily.
  10. This entire team is an afterthought. They should throw a ton of money at one of the retired drivers on TV to come out and take the seat. Even better get a rotation of Jensen, Nico, Damon Hill, Paul DiResta, Anthony Davidson, even let Martin and Karun get a race. At least get some attention while finishing at the back of the grid.
  11. Don’t forget that he didn’t just come out of nowhere. He was a 5 star recruit and Army All-American. He was a victim of the Clay Helton era at USC and that hampered his consistent production. He was also stung by constant QB injuries and was splitting time in a super loaded WR room with Michael Pittman, Drake London, Tyler Vaughns, and Velus Jones. He was drafted in the Covid year and that made everyone’s evaluations atypical. I think he was definitely hurt by a lack of combine. No doubt he would’ve impressed on the field and in the interview. Glad it all worked out and we were able to get the steal of the entire draft.
  12. I see almost a perfect clone of Anquan Boldin. Super productive, physical yet still explosive.
  13. This is great. How did I not know this existed?
  14. Chris’s comments at press conference firing Avila were the equivalent of Javy Baez facing an 0-2 slider off the plate. Harris today was Aaron Judge on a middle middle fastball in a 2-0 count.
  15. There’s always a Chelios connection somewhere.
  16. This is very true. Let’s hope it’s another unhinged week for the Vikes. Philly had constant pressure on him and he folded up. Hoping for more of the same from our front 7. Even if he bounces back and shreds, I don’t see any reason why our offense can’t put up another 35 against these guys.
  17. I’m guessing he just wanted to live somewhere nicer than San Francisco.
  18. It’s weird to have talent on paper and actually see it perform on the field. The offense has 2 stud playmakers, a legit OLine and whatever you make of Hock. There is some serious potential. Goff is not an elite QB. While he’s played nicely so far, he is going to miss his share of throws that better QB’s convert. The key is having these mistakes end up as drive ending punts and not silly interceptions
  19. Goff is doing what he needs to do for this team to be successful. Before the season, I thought he just needed to be slightly above average around the 12th or 13th best in the league. He’s been doing that and maybe even a little more. Yesterday was a great example of what he can be. Nobody questions the arm strength. He made some big time throws into tight windows and was smart with the football. He’s not mobile but he was good in the pocket and didn’t get happy feet. Most importantly he’s making smart decisions. The challenge for him is not being quite consistent enough and missing some hard throws that the better guys make. Still, he’s been almost night and day from where he was at to begin last season. His biggest weakness has been the deep ball and that was on display again yesterday. He’s just not very accurate on those 45+ yard bombs. The reality is this isn’t a high percentage play in the first place. If you had to pick a weakness this one may be preferable. It’s easy to game plan around without taking away from the offense. He hasn’t proven himself as the future guy yet but he’s on his way to doing that if he can keep this up. He’s got the weapons around him now that’s for sure.
