Great win for Charles but yes it feels like they lost a big opportunity to make up ground in the constructors with Carlos DNF for RB. They had an easy 1-2.

Not sure why the TV guys are ignoring Ferrari purposely conserving tires at the moment and Max is going full out.

RB throws in the towel and gives Ferrari the 1-2 finish. They can’t possibly fuck this up with 35 laps to go, right?

So far so good from Ferrari strategy. Max takes a 2nd pit which is huge for Ferrari as now a late safety car will help them and not mess it up.

23 laps in and it sure looks like this will be another race decided by a key Ferrari strategy decision. We’ve seen how that goes. They need split the cars and do it soon.

Or maybe he’ll pull a rookie move and get way to aggressive on the 1st lap and concede his entire race.

Hoping for some odd strategies or car malfunctions to avoid a boring VER/LEC/SAI finish. I think PER has a great shot to move up the track and podium again.

Not necessarily unexpected but this is another big miss for Harbaugh.

There were many teams that dropped all the Russians down their boards and some entirely off it. The recent issues that have come up with army responsibilities that have been ignored in the past are a potential concern. Nobody is sure even if the veteran Russian players that went home for the summer will have issues when they try to leave. This should create nice later round value for teams like the Wings that don’t care are willing to get value and wait until these tensions pass.

I like the Husso move. He’s got a high upside. I’m still confused about Ned. Is he a league average GK or is there something much better there. He had some nice stretches and some completely awful ones. Not sure how much weight to give it since the atrocious defensive prowess playing in front of him. Time will tell but like adding Husso to create competition.

Wasn’t a great look with Bad Harry Potter Glasses chastising Charles after the race on the global TV feed. The good news for Scuderia is it’s better that the team and strategy is a mess than the car. It’s an easier and less expensive fix.

Speculate all you want but not sure how it’s possible to assess any blame or fault without knowing literally anything about what’s happening.

This board is here to discuss exactly these things but probably best for nobody to get any real strong views either way on this situation and how it has been handled. The truth is we have no idea what is going on. We know he’s not with the team. That’s it. Everything other than that is all speculation.
