He’s the scumbagiest of scumbag lawyers. I suspect he will be taking the 5th to legitimately protect himself for his role in criminal activity rather than just doing it to stay loyal to his cult leader.

Higgy was a good player that put up some very nice statistical seasons in the middle of the Steroid era. The biggest issue with him and the fanbase was that his production immediately declined after signing a large contract extension. He became the very overpaid face of some bad, bad Tiger teams.

Those last laps were incredible! Great run for Carlos. Super happy for him to get that first win. He’s now right on his teammates tail in the standings too. I feel for Charles. He’s had some of the worst luck going on 3 years now. Honestly, he could easily have 6 or 7 more career wins had some breaks gone his way. Lewis had some poor luck on the slow stop but didn’t matter as 3rd was all they were going to get anyway today. Off to RB Ring next week and expect to see Max back on top again.

Ferrari gets super lucky as both cars lose places at the start and they will now restart from initial grid position. Glad Zhou is ok as that is as bad an incident as you will ever see.

I was floored when I heard that and then he went on to call Chris a cheap slumlord that doesn’t deserve to have his old man’s last name. I thought Trevor Thompson was going to explode on the spot. Great stuff

Fox and ESPN control everything and they have their own deals ironed out independently. CFB really needs a commissioner that can oversee all the conferences and could then bid out the entire package to multiple networks like the NFL.

I’m going to give the Tigers the benefit of doubt and assume the reports that they were still paying him were erroneous. The restricted list is almost always unpaid and there’s no way they would be this hands off with no communication on their dime.

USC on board would be enough to entice ND if they are so inclined. Not sure how adding Stanford really moves the needle for the Irish.

Things will move quickly from here. The rest of the Pac will be courted. If I had to guess the B10 takes Oregon, Washington, Cal, Stanford. Big 12 gets Utah, Colorado and the Arizona schools. The ACC is the one to watch. Their terrible TV deal that keeps schools rights until 2035 is really the only thing holding it together. I’m sure lawyers from places like Clemson and Miami are trying to find a legal loophole. If they can, then expect the ACC to get swallowed up by SEC and Big12. That’s where things will get interesting and what do the B10 and SEC do with their Nebraska,Rutgers, and Vandy type schools. Do they kick them to the curb or are they grandfathered in? Big 12 has a chance to stay around for a while as a 3rd major conference if they play their cards correctly and pick up remnants of ACC and Pac. Fun times…

The PAC-12 presidents made a huge mistake not firing their previous commissioner, Larry Scott, five years ago. He had a pipe dream vision to solely own the Pac-12 Network and that failed miserably. He should’ve taken a network partner like all of the other conferences. He had come from running the Women’s Tennis Association prior and had this silly idea that the PAC-12 olympic sports had tremendous TV value and would boost the network. He was very wrong. This created the huge financial inequality that wasn’t helped with a down stretch for USC football, UCLA & Arizona basketball. The PAC-12 was sliding into oblivion and it was only going to get worse with the next TV contracts. I think everyone can see that contraction of the traditional power 5 conferences is coming at some point into a new model and the PAC was going to get left behind. And yes @lordstanley, the Song Girls do travel.

I’m a little surprised that UCLA can do this without taking Cal. They are part of the same university system and ultimately run by the same people. Hell, they have the same fight song.

Dead & Co. absolutely killed it last night at Pine Knob. Amazing show with a bunch of unreal jams. John Mayer has found his niche blending his style into the old Jerry parts of the band. Tough choices for sure as I’m sure Derek and Susan did the same downtown.
