    My wish for Goff would be to sit in that 11 - 15 overall ranking. Exactly in that Cousins, Carr, Prescott area. Reynolds, Chark, St. Brown is a sneaky good WR core. Jamo will be a plus with whatever he can bring. Swift should be a huge weapon and if they can get anything significant from Hock there’s a pretty loaded offense behind one of the better OL In football.

    I have a similar thought on the offense. I think they will take a huge step up and be ranked just outside the top 10. I’m flying blind with faith that Goff will rediscover himself and play at a much higher level. I’m even trying to convince myself that he will play well enough to get signed to an extension and everyone will be cool and not freak out. The schedule seems very favorable and I really hope they are still in the playoff mix in the latter weeks of the season. 7 or 8 wins is my number at the moment.

    He’s got an opinion that he won’t back down even an inch and continues hammering the same point at every opportunity for years. I thought you of all people would have found that admirable.

    They always are. POD is the anti-Monarrez. Don’t get me wrong, I like the positivity but it’s like they can’t believe the Lions gave them access to the beat and they don’t want to mess it up.

    Birkett didn’t have very good things to say about the 1st joint practice with the Colts. He spent most of the time watching the offense and he said they struggled badly. Other reporters that focused on the defense said they were even worse. Hopefully just a bad day.

    We’re in the lead. I’m good with the ridiculously high strike as long as he keeps it consistent both ways.

    The board of regents for the University of California system met today and they were none too pleased. They did not like the UCLA Chancellor made this move without telling them. They are debating whether he even had the power but it doesn’t sound like they are going to stand in the way. They don’t mind UCLA moving to the B1G. They can see how much more money it will make. They are pissed that Cal is stuck in a dying conference and desperately want them along too.

    I won’t read the article but hopefully it talked about this being a total ruse so Patricia can still get paid from the Lions this year. Had he been named coordinator then the Lions would no longer have to pay him the remainder of his contract. Another reason to hate these guys.

    My gut tells me they don’t have enough batteries to meet demand so they are purposely stepping on the price to slow down the pace of orders.

    Schoop is the tallest dwarf.

    Walt would’ve strangled Marion in her own kitchen instead of getting caught. As would Mike, Gus, Lalo, and most of the other criminals on the shows. Saul/Jimmy was a con man instead of a drug lord. He wasn’t wired the same as those other guys.

    You are correct. I didn’t realize how much $7.5M is for a 2nd baseman. That was a big overpay in hindsight.

    Love the throwback. Goose sure looks like the future of jam music even though the old heads are having a tough time coming around.

    We are stuck Baez and he needs to be at 2nd. His arm is just too wild at SS. This also may entice Schoop to test the market instead of taking his player option.

    I have many thoughts that I can’t really gather properly. Great episode. Great Series. I love how it ended in the same way it started in S1E1 with Jimmy and Kim sharing a cigarette against a cement wall.

    I think the defense will be better than last year but still statistically one of the 5 worst in the league.

    This defense is still really bad. Not sure how they will go about getting teams off the field on 3rd down. They couldn’t stop a crossing pattern or properly plug run holes last year. I don’t see this changing much.

    The Saul version of Gene is now on the run after Marion turned him in. No doubt that he long ago prepared a plan for just this situation where he quickly needs to disappear. I think most of the episode will focus just on him trying to work his plan to avoid capture and possibly even trying to fake his own death. No clue how it turns out and what happens but I’m damn excited to see.

    I don’t know about that. They helped themselves a ton in portal and still return Thorne and Reed.
