  1. MLB Network did last night
  2. I would give up both 32 & 34. I see him as the next great WR in the league and would take the offense to a different level. It would also give them options next year if they need to lure a potential FA QB. if we are getting really spacey then I’d also look to trade #2 and both next years #1 for Kyler Murray. Imagine this OL in front of Murray, Swift, Deebo, AmonRa, and Hock and having them all controlled for the next 3+ years (less Hock). Let Brad fill the defense through FA and later round draft picks where he excelled in LA.
  3. Forgot to add, I’d much rather pay $25M to take advantage of Deebo Samuel’s prime production years than a situation like the Ralders paying Devante Adams for what he did during his prime with the Packers.
  4. I don’t think it goes against the plan. It just speeds it up. They we’re going to spend on big FA either next year or the following once they felt comfortable with a foundation of core players. When unforeseen opportunities arise sometimes you need to alter the timeline of the plan. They don’t need Deebo to play RB so that should be a non-issue. He can be very useful as an RB in a package but 95% of his time should be at WR.
  5. I hadn’t heard that and I’m not sure I believe it. He wants to get paid like a top 5 WR right now doesn’t want to wait another year.
  6. Sign me up for Deebo. He was 1st team all pro last year and is just entering his prime. It would cost both 32 & 34 and a huge salary. I’d like they would paying a premium based on what he’s going to do for the Lions instead of what usually happens when a star player hits the market and gets paid based on what they did in the past and production inevitably declines. Can you imagine the versatility with Deebo, Swift, Amon Ra. That’s some serious RAC potential and big problems for a defense.
  7. Same. Mario Cristobal has had nothing but positive things to say about his effort, motivation, and desire to be great.
  8. They are all grifters. The GOP is more brazen but everyone in DC is for profit.
  9. My preferences: #2 1) Malik Willis 2) Kayvon Thibodeaux 3) Aiden Hutchiinson 4) Jermaine Johnson 5) Trayvon Walker #32 & #34 1) Christian Watson 2) Nakobe Dean 3) Lewis Cine 4) Jahan Dotson 5) Jacoby Brisker 6) Daxton Hill 7) Jaelon Pitre 8 - Chad Muma 9) Brian Asomoah
  10. 6 outs from perfection with a low pitch count is the only situation where you need to strongly consider changing the plan. IMO , I felt they made a mistake not letting him try. I disagree on both devaluing a perfect game into being just a “super cool headline” and also that it would be borderline negligent to send him out past 80 pitches but that’s just a difference in opinion not a right or wrong thing.
  11. He’s been unlucky with injuries so I doubt he’ll come here and suddenly have a change of luck. It’s the Lions after all.
  12. I was a little surprised too at how many viewed Cossa as the difference maker in prospects. Upside is still good and goalies are super weird in their development.
  13. I read the same article and thought they seemed to give the Sens the sight edge. I was surprised that most of the writers had Chabot ahead of Seider. I think that will change in the near future.
  14. Hock is definitely above average but woefully short of expectation for a TE taken that high.
  15. Weed Lake is still going strong. 3 dispensaries open for business and always busy. In true stoner fashion, The Greenhouse (and that same owner) still has its outlandish Christmas lights up in April.
  16. I’ll take the rain in this one.
  17. 100% but this one was too awful to not share.
  18. Kiper’s New Mock: 2) Sauce Gardner - CB 32) Lewis Cine - S 34) David Ojabo - IR
  19. His nickname is Dick Mountain
  20. A story about Hutch going 1 gets no views. Walker on the other hand gets all the clicks.
  21. Great work from Ferrari. I know it was a tough call to throw in the towel early last season to focus on the 2022 car instead of 2021 upgrades but it has played out perfectly. They are ahead of everyone right now. RB isn’t far off once they get their reliability issues worked out but they are still behind. There are races coming up that they should do very well. Merc has to be feeling great all things considered. To be this far off with the car but still right in the hunt overall is excellent considering how far away the car is from where they want it. This is going to be a fun season watching these 3 battle it out.
