They will figure out short yardage but they shouldn’t be trying to hammer anyway. They have fast playmakers and should be looking to get the ball downfield in chunks most of the time. I could easily see Harbaugh getting overly conservative if I they had a Haskins type back.
The offense is loaded. The amount of speed and talent is more than they’ve had in a long time. They are 2 deep with talent at every skill position.
They would still win 9 games if they had Rutgers defense.
Normally, I’d think this would signal they didn’t find the nuclear docs they were looking for. Not sure since it’s Trump. He could be caught red handed and would still put up an oddball defense and vehemently hammer it home with help from his Fox News friends. His cult and GOP lackies will all go along. He also has nobody with any intelligence and experience advising him anymore. His inner circle is left with Rudy and a bunch of yes kids in their 20’s.
That Michigan schedule is a thing of beauty.
-8 home games/4 road games
-Creampuff non B10 games all in the Big House
-Misses Wisconsin, Minnesota and Purdue in conference
-Even if everything goes wrong, the worst they can do is win 9 games
It would finally be the end of the line for Trump and the cult if the feds actually found the nuclear docs at mar-a-lago. Unfortunately, I’ve seen this movie too many times before to know they most likely came up empty.
I felt that even without Super Bowls the numbers of Ryan, Rivers, and Stafford would be enough to get them all in at some point. The ring now makes it for sure for Stafford.
Makes sense if he had retired from football. He didn’t. One certainly can’t blame Stafford for his decision and it obviously worked out perfect for him but the facts are facts. He grew tired of being in Detroit and didn’t want to be part of another rebuild.
Apparently. How did you think it went down?
He was fucked the moment he got the “welcome to the show” handshake from Coolbaugh in the clubhouse. Just a touch is all it takes for him to pass his suck on.
You hit on one of the things that I’m interested to follow this season.
Going for it on 4th down.
He went for it a record amount of times last season. I’m interested to see if this is his normal philosophy of if he was hyper aggressive because the team was out of contention early and it afforded him the opportunity to take risks. Will they once again go on 4th down much more than anyone else in the league?
Fwiw, we discussed many of the decisions ad nauseum last year and I’m not looking to reignite the debate whether they were justified or not.
She has a BA from Arizona State, MBA from San Diego State, and a JD from something called California Western School of Law (rank bottom 25% between 149-200 overall in the country). She’s be perfect if they had something like a Rhodes scholar from party schools.
