  1. Hopefully Jamison will be better than the other two Williams WR the Lions drafted on the 1st round.
  2. His cognitive abilities are declining fast.
  3. Chark won’t mind because this is the business of the NFL. Things change. He had other options and chose the Lions as team without speed WR to showcase himself for a year and try the market again in 2023.
  4. I don’t believe for a second that Williams was disappointed to picked by the Lions. Dude was still limping on the stage just a few months from major knee surgery. He had to be ecstatic that he was still picked high. DJ Chark is the one that may not be so happy the Lions picked Williams but that’s the business of the NFL
  5. None of those beaten up guys left the field on a cart.
  6. Has - as in 4 years ago. Something happened to him and he’s not the same guy. There’s a reason they gave up on him.
  7. What wins in the NFL is a suoerstar QB leading a high end offense. The Lions have Jared Goff
  8. Oruwariye and Walker are the only ones that I would consider high end talent. Possibly Melafonwu
  9. How would you have felt had they made the trade and picked Hamilton instead of Williams?
  10. I’m interested to see who they get and if they even pick ar 46 but there is a drop off in trading back from 34 to 46. It’s not as inconsequential as you are making it out to be.
  11. We also traded our top of the 5th round pick this year for WR Trinity Benson . That’s not looking so good at this moment
  12. They have very little high end talent at LB and DB. Almost none of it is young. You need these positions to win. WR is arguably one of their deeper positions on the Lions with AmonRa, Reynolds, Chark, Cephus. There are so many holes on the defense that I would’ve preferred to fill some instead of trading extra picks for another WR
  13. There’s no way Dean is there at 46. Zero chance
  14. They can’t take a QB at 46. It’s got to be a defensive back 7 player. Although I think there’s a real possibility he will trade back for a 3rd and 4th.
  15. I like the aggressiveness of the trade and I like getting Hutch and Williams. If I’m being honest I would’ve preferred to stay at 32/34 and getting Cine and Dean over Williams
  16. I’ve come full circle and have moved away from wanting Willis at 2. I’m back to KT as my choice. I wouldn’t be terribly upset if it was Hutch instead.
  17. Gardner or Hamilton at 2 Any QB other than Willis at 32
  18. A blast from the past. He used to post here.
  19. The sad reality of humanity is that even in a paradise with perfect weather, it doesn’t take long to get used it and start complaining when it gets down to 65 with a little wind.
  20. Agree they need another TE and one that can block. I dont see a need to go after one that high. I like Deese or Ferguson in the 5th or 6th.
  21. Too big of a risk for me in based on those track conditions. I would’ve said the same thing had RB crashed. The poker analogy makes sense but curious if and how your strategy would change if you were playing in a 10 person game with only 22 hands allowed. How aggressive would you be fighting for small pots in hand 5 as the 2nd highest stack?
  22. That ending was the baseball version of a bag of dicks.
  23. I think everyone in this draft has some type of on field red flag. The brand issue may be valid for the moment but the reality is that with the new NIL stuff at the college level this is going to become the norm for top players. I personally view his interest in marketing as a positive. He’s very serious about being a big brand with staying power and he realizes that can only happen if he’s a stud on the field. He gets that has to be the foundation or none of the other stuff will matter.
  24. What are his off field red flags?
