Caleb’s ability to throw on the run and to make things happen with his feet to move the chains in short yardage is what won him the Heisman. There’s nothing special about his game as a drop back in the pocket passer. He’s not CJ Stroud. They need to do a much better job putting him in the right position knowing they have a **** OL and a meh running game. More quicker and shorter routes or designed rollouts.

Pistons lucked out a bit being in a group with Milwaukee and Toronto at the bottom of the standings and Miami and Indiana in the middle. It’s not likely but not impossible to come out of this group.

A stout OL and a between the tackles RB are much more important weapons for a young QB’s than having stud WR’s and TE’s. That OL is atrocious yet Poles chose to waste the 9th pick on another WR and a 4th round on a punter.

It’s really more of him doing a favor for himself. He obviously doesn’t realize how foolish and embarrassing he comes off with the never ending negativity in the middle of the greatest Lions season in his lifetime. It’s a very bad look.

What makes it so much worse is they are still calling all of these timing and crossing routes down the field. They are asking Warren to make same throws that JJ McCarthy made last year. They need to run the football and then use play action, screens, and short throws.
