  1. Campbell appears to be the only one making plays
  2. I have no idea what to expect tonight. Go Lions!
  3. All good. He’s the Bears QB. That in itself is enough to justify not liking him.
  4. Current QBR has Kyler Murray and Jordan Love ranked higher than Jared Goff. Not sure it’s worth very much. Make whatever final decisions you’d like about Caleb Williams after year one. History tells us it’s usually a very poor indicator of future QB success.
  5. No doubt he is to blame for some of these sacks. He’s been sacked a league worst 67 times on the year. Thats an astronomical number. Even if 20 are his fault (which is probably high), that still almost 50 sacks which would still rank top 7 worst. Their OL is that bad.
  6. He’s having an amazing rookie season when you consider how bad the OL and Coaching Staff has performed around him. Add in DJ Moore looking like he quit weeks ago and Keenan Allen suddenly getting a bad case of the dropsies.
  7. Personally, I’d love for them to go full out and crush San Francisco. I think the smart move is to hold back.
  8. I added them after. No reason at all but you still need some bodies to play the game. This isn’t preseason with expanded rosters.
  9. Goff, Gibbs, St. Brown, Laporta, a couple of the OL . If Moseley and Iffy are ready then Kirby, Branch, Arnold, maybe Campbell on defense.
  10. The odds of a tie in an NFL football game are 3%. That means there’s a 97% chance the reward they are chasing won’t even matter.
  11. I’d really like Dan to only play the starters for a half. I understand the want to win everything and how it fits the culture that they’ve built but the reward is simply not worth the risk. I know they remember LaPorta getting hurt last year in a meaningless Week 18 game.
  12. On the other side of the coin, Carson Wentz and Jimmy Garappolo were looked at as possible future Hall of Famers. Quick decisions often end up wrong in this league.
  13. There’s starting to be a noticeable trend where college performance is carrying over to NFL success like never before. The college game has changed and it’s time for NFL scouting to change with it. So many All American level college players that slipped outside round 1 due physical measurements and combine testing are finding themselves tearing it up in the league. More emphasis on college production and less on 40 times and physical measurements. Most teams need to value the tape much more as the good ones already have. If I were a GM, I’d take my staff to the combine just for the player interviews and skip the entire 5 days of on field workouts. It’s fools gold.
  14. Agree and for this year Daniels was definitely the better pick. Time will tell if it stays that way. Hive mentality often makes the determination of franchise QB way too early. His ability to get first downs with his legs has been huge for him. The team will start limiting this big time after he gets his first big injury as we’ve seen happen many times in the past.
  15. Expected by all and now officially SNF next week
  16. From your mouth to Chris’s checkbook.
  17. If they didn’t have a better plan in place, they needed to keep Eberflus until seasons end. Thomas Brown is completely overmatched for this position. I’m not even sure he’s ready to be a full time OC much less Head Coach. He was an offensive assistant to start the year. I almost feel bad for the guy watching him make terrible decision after terrible decision. Yet another tragic move from Ryan Poles, Chicago’s version of Bob Quinn.
  18. This is another Harris flyer on a guy that had below career average numbers last year in the hopes he rebounds. He’s hit on a few of these in the past.
  19. Didn’t see The Toddfather as the choice but he’s great with young teams and taking them to the playoffs. His record once he gets them there is another thing but that’s down the road. His system is a defensive oriented 1-3-1. It will be interesting to see how quickly this group can get adjusted.
  20. Yep. I’m sure Scott Boros came up with fair market number and Bregman told him to no way that he wants more because he’s better than that.
  21. The Pistons 13-17 start is a great turnaround but they are just a Cade injury away from finishing the season 17-65. They haven’t really built much yet.
  22. It appears that we along with the Red Sox and possibly the Mets are the only suitors left for Bregman. The contract will most likely look terrible in 4 or 5 years but he’d look great in our lineup everyday for the next 3+ seasons.
  23. Goff not quite as sharp as normal in the cold. He’ll settle in soon.
