  1. Was reading another thread and it got me thinking. Would you trade all of these players to the Dodgers for Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Yoshi Yamamoto?
  2. When’s the Game 6 thread going up? Came up a few plays short but what a great run by the boys. This September and October won’t be forgotten for a long time. Hopefully it becomes the catalyst for a new run of Tiger playoff teams.
  3. @ben9753 has got to be happy about this time change.
  4. AJ’s streak of always pressing the right button comes to an end with the call to send Jobe back out for the 9th.
  5. This is going to be the grittiest ****ing win of the season!
  6. The Guardians should change their name if that happened.
  7. I think this team is similar to last year prior to the Larkin injury and makes the playoffs as a wild card. The top unit excels and they get better play from their 2nd and 3rd line Centers. One of the goalies steps up and plays better than he should. There will be a similar stretch like last season where everything clicks and they are the best team in the league for 2 and a half weeks. The PP will be very strong and rank top 7 in the league. They also get a big surprise from one of the kids that comes up from GR and never goes back. Not sure which one at the moment. 97 points
  8. Cleveland is a franchise with a long and storied history. They aren’t just going to let outsiders swoop in and take away everything their franchise has stood for the last 120 years. They have tremendous pride in who they are and we can’t expect them to give up and change their colors on a whim. Nobody with an ounce of pride would do that, so they aren’t going to quit the fight and choose to be something different. I expect the Guardians to battle like Crazy Horse having Custer in his sights at Little Big Horn. Eat ‘em up Tigers!
  9. The talk at the convention was fine but I don’t see how having Bill Clinton out on the campaign trail moves the needle forward. Anyone that’s influenced by him at this point is already a strong Democrat.
  10. It’s a popular meme. Call an ambulance but not for me. https://youtu.be/0H6n1aK0ZSo?si=oW39XldfwqB_VFwD
  11. It was weird to see Dylan Cease get knocked around. I’m used to seeing him dominate the Tigers lineup .
  12. Honestly, I had to check a few times to see if this was a parody account. This is what he calls an UNPRECEDENTED SCANDAL? This is absolutely nothing. It’s not even the lowest level of wrong doing. It’s editing a TV show. If that isn’t whack job enough, he goes on to say the Democrats should concede the election to him because of this incredible wrong doing. This is completely asinine even for Trump.
  13. #99 Mr. Not October is doing his best to make it happen.
  14. Worst fans in the league baby!!!
  15. No different than any other MLB game now. The umpiring is awful for all teams.
  16. This ****ing pitching staff!!!!
  17. Stayed a bit too long with Heurter. Hopefully it doesn’t matter.
  18. 4 Lion Victories as they shake off the early season rust and move to the top of the NFC food chain.
  19. He’s hoping to squeeze every last dollar out of this campaign grift. The last big push before Election Day is just the lube he needs to get deeper into the pockets of that glorious Wall St. money that he desires so much. As for the venue, that’s probably gratis between two buddies. If anything, JD is paying Trump to show up. The scary part is these are more signs that he doesn’t really care about winning the vote and he’s got other plans for how to get into the White House. He just needs a close enough finish to make whatever claims stick.
  20. Fans go as the team goes. I remember going to a couple games at Petco about 10 years ago when the Tigers were in town and it was a complete orange and blue takeover. Going back even further, I loved the Murph/Qualcomm. Even though it was a crappy cookie cutter stadium from the late 60’s, nobody ever went and their ushers didn’t care. You could pay for the worst seats and move up to infield box with no issues.
  21. It turns out that around 5,000 seats have some type of obstructed view in Utah’s rink. Would you go to a game where you could only see one net? This is crazy.
