Today’s economic data concerns me in that it may be what gets Trump back on track with some of the conservative voters that he’s abandoned. MAGA has spent almost no time on core tenants of the Republican Party like the economy, national debt, and government spending, instead focusing on immigration, abortion, fake news, and general lib hating. This has isolated more than just the never trump conservatives. It will become a big talking point for Trump if the economy slows down just a tiny bit more and we enter a technical recession. This is one area that can speak directly to the people that he’s ignored and probably hit some spots that will resonate with them. I doubt he was ever planning on doing anything on his own to try to bring them back under the tent.

Still having trouble figuring out why our 4 person 3x3 team consists of 35 year old Jimmer Fredette, the 32 year old least known son of Rick Barry, some other 30 year old white gut that never played higher than D2 college, and another 30 year that played at Princeton and currently is a low lever performance coach for the TWolves. We have to be able to do better.

On top of today’s soft numbers, the BLS revised their reports lower from the last two months. You know, the strong numbers that everyone got excited about. June was overstated by 27k or roughly 13%. May numbers were revised for a 2nd time after they already revised them last month. The May numbers were initially 272k and now it turns out the real number was 216k. That’s an insane 56k miss that they continue to play off as accepted error in their polling process. There’s no reason to believe that these soft numbers from July won’t be revised even lower in the next few reports.

25bps cut was expected in September. I think 50bps is now on the table with possibly more to follow in December

The YouTube channel was huge for him turning his image around from the uncool side of the Koepka feud to huge fan favorite despite being on LIV. I can’t imagine a worse person to play with than Trump. Massive ego, will blatantly cheat whenever he can, and doesn’t think anything of the rules or etiquette of the game. Not a chance of him actually paying you if he loses a bet. None of that is political and pertains directly to what has been documented on his golf game.

3x3 is fun. This game is so different than Ice Cube’s 3x3 league. The Olympic version is way better. Much faster and more emphasis on shooting and defending. Also, this needs to be the last 3x3 for the US without real players.

I’m all for Israel defending themselves against terrorists but you can’t be running assassination operations in the middle of Tehran. That’s insanity. Are they trying to start WW3?

Last 15 Starts: Kikuchi - 76 IP 5.80 ERA 88 H 49 ER 87K Flaherty - 88 IP 2.25 ERA 64 H 25 ER 113K Obviously, Kikuchi hasn’t pitched to the level that his advanced metrics suggest. He’s been terrible. All I’m saying is there’s got to be a point where what he’s putting out every 5th day counts more than what his stuff+ says he could be.

The stats show you what it actually is. Stuff metrics, pitch shape, etc. show you what it can be. Nobody can tell you exactly what it will be.

That ridiculous. Kikuchi had a great April, solid May, and a total horror show June and July. He’s got a 6 25 ERA in his last 11 starts. 65 hits and 39 ER in 54 IP. 2+ months of 💩 Flaherty last 12 starts is 2.43 ERA and 51 hits and 19 ER in 70.2 IP. The numbers aren’t even in the same atmosphere.

Team wants to make a change and the league says it’s not good for storyline and ticket sales. This has always been part of F1. Motorsport with a small piece of Professional Wrestling mixed in.

Still, Flaherty is a much better player now than Kikuchi. Even if you like the Flaherty return better, it would only be a very slight upgrade than the Kikuchi deal. They are very similar packages.
