Really enjoyed Benetti and Pena. Especially the Higginson grand theft auto story and the game "what have I done?" Now I can watch the Tigers score 8 runs against the Yankees.

Jung also made nice plays at second and later at third base.

We all knew it would be a problem when they only let Shep go. There are some weak links left. I still like Petry and I think he would be a good straight man to Benetti's wit. I look forward to what Pena can do.

Benetti also had a good interview with Skubal. Skubal said he's glad Benetti is not calling home runs against him anymore. He was sick of Benetti's enthusiasm during the many HR he gave up to the White Sox. Benetti also talked to Hinch during the second inning with some playful ribbing back and forth. At the end of the game, he inferred the interview in the second helped Hinch lead the team to victory.

I really enjoyed Benetti and I'll leave it at that.

Good news for Carpenter, he'll be the DH tomorrow.

Baez was absolutely trying to crush every pitch today and when he does, his head tilts up and off the ball. I know he's had success flailing away in earlier seasons but it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Watching him in two at bats today, I'm surprised his shoes are still on his feet.

That is the million dollar question. Quote from the article: "With health and better controlled aggression, Greene will put himself in a great position to hit his 90th percentile outcome." I'm not sure if "controlled aggression" refers to plate discipline or diving plays or both.
