The Tigers received two fringe prospects, at best, in the two deals they did make, and were asking too much for their closer, Gregory Soto, in the one they didn’t make. With relievers in demand, I was shocked the Tigers didn’t take advantage of the market by dealing Soto, their most tradable asset. According to several GMs, they just priced him too high. The Tigers could have dealt lefty Andrew Chafin and/or righty Joe Jiménez. They missed a golden opportunity to improve their organization’s pool of position players. Another disappointing deadline in the Motor City.

I think he would accept. Time to "clean some things up" as Al said yesterday but forgot to add himself to the cleaning....

Yes this article is right on but too bad it falls short calling for Al's ouster. I know its hard to gain access by doing that but still needs to be said. Henning to his credit is and I think WoJo has also.

This trade deadline is another opportunity to improve our team and the first chance since this season’s disaster. If Al snoozes it’s dereliction of duty. Al said he was mad 😡 so do something about it. Make something happen or step the F aside. Gosh Darn it we deserve do much better.

Yes we are really missing opportunities with Al. It seems he is always thinking job preservation above aggressively building a winning team. He really needs to go. The entire league has passed him by. Look what the Orioles got for Lopez. A waiver wire pick up they traded for real prospects first chance they got. Not Al.

Looks like only Fullmer will be traded. So we keep the bullpen intact for 2023 and improve the offense so the bullpen can regress next year ? I sound/feel like a damaged child. Look what this team can do to you. Go away Al. Be gone Chris.
