  1. you must not read this board much. im told mcvay is a bad coach and they would have won the super bowl without stafford. regardless, our secondary is garbage. jared needs to outscore them.
  2. correction: our best corner. our best corner is not good. at this point, just out branch out there. sutton cant cover anybody.
  3. mcvay and stafford are pretty good. going to have to outscore them.
  4. the lions are hosting a playoff game and youre watching a bunch of high school kids who will be drafted by other teams when the pistons pick 5th.
  5. lol cowboys. which lackey coach will jerry hire next? that franchise's problem has ALWAYS been jerry's ego. he won't hire a good coach that will take attention away from him. jimmy johnson made them so good that even barry switzer couldnt **** it up. but once that team passed, its been nothing but jerry's lackeys wasting talented teams. never change jerry.
  6. the presence of christian wood in that list tells you how important that statistic really is.
  7. this is terrifying. the packers with yet another qb who will tear us up. sigh.
  8. its more than training and nutrition. he's juiced to hell. he's still a mutant and the best basketball player in history, but he is the poster child for peds.
  9. modern medicine has preserved/emhanced lebron very well.
  10. i'll always like stafford. if the lions cant win, i want the rams to win. but i want him to lose today.
  11. with his heart condition and the way he's playing, is bronny james even draftable at this point? and how many second round picks will weaver have to give up for trade back into the first round to get him?
  12. this trade has nothing to do with this season. its about getting expiring contracts and using those contracts to either 1) use money in free agency or 2) use it in a trade for someone else's big contract they no longer want. like zach lavine. or maybe jerami grant. or maybe someone else this summer when teams are trying to avoid the tax/apron. it has nothing to do with those players making a difference this year. if it DID, i would really question the front office's acumen. actually, if it DID, i would really start to think they were intentionally trying to lose in order to get fired.
  13. only an owner as stupid as tom gores would allow the man who put them in position to be the worst team in nba history try to make trades to bring them out of that position. why why why? WHY? tom gores makes william clay ford look like red auerbach. this incompetence is amazing to watch.
  14. they're going to trade their first round pick on draft night plus ivey for lavine or some other washed up overrated injury prone 30 year old "all star", arent they? is that better than a max deal for 30 year old declining pascal siakem? or a max deal for anunoby? just wait until they draft bronny in round one and then sign lebron. lol. i'm only partially kidding.
  15. lots of wishful thinking in this thread lately. good luck to jj! time to hit that portal.
  16. guys, sasser is tiny and not very good righr now. i understand the "let him play he's a rookie" vibe, but if he amounts to anything more than a shooting guard off the bench i'll be surprised. i get it. were all grasping at straws with this team. understandable.
  17. no. its a nothing burger trade. gallinari barely plays on washington. he is a "threat" from 3 like joe harris is a "threat" from 3. in other words, if you have a time machine and can take this team back 5 years ago they would both be great additions. but you cant. bagley for all his many many flaws is better than gallinari. the supposed difference is gallinari can shoot 3s and bagley cant. true. but he doesnt shoot them much anymore because he is old and doesnt play very well. and if you think this somehow lessens wiseman's participation, i got news for you. bagley is better than wiseman and he didnt play. why would we think monty is going to play 0 centers on his fabled bench unit now? and why would you think harris would suddenly be a plus contributor? because the great isaiah livers is no longer blocking his way? harris - like gallinari - is cooked. done. finito. playing out the string on their massive contracts. all this does is show what a horrible extension the bagley deal was. you had to pay two second round picks to give his salary away for JUNK. its just like the plumlee deal. yet another big man signed to a ridiculous contract that you had to give assets away to get rid of ONE YEAR LATER. i'll wait for the other shoe to drop because i keep hoping that weaver isnt that stupid to make this deal without another one coming, or at least SOME type of asset coming back. but that is likely wishful thinking.
  18. setting up a bigger move is even scarier. not sure how the team will get by without livers. i was told all offseason about what a leader he is...
