technically, they have never lost at home... just kidding. to your point, dallas has been destroying everyone at home and averaging 40 points a game (a lot of that via defense), and detroit came in and played them toe to toe. it was a great effort by them, regardless of a potential ref mistake to blow a game winning play.

without two centers in the game, the lane is open. 1) monty learn how to coach and not play two ground bound non-shooting centers at once; 2) troy learn how to construct a 2023 nba roster that doesnt have four centers, only one of whom is an actual nba starter (and he's 20!).

goalie is the biggest issue, imo. husso hasnt worked out. lyon and reimers were brought in as backups, you cant blame them for not being patrick roy, but husso was traded for to be the starter and is paid like a starter, and he's been bad. if they had a good goalie they've got 4 or 5 more wins this season. you can say that about a lot of teams (hi jersey, hi edmonton), but the wings are one of them. goalies are weird, but the wings havent had goalie luck since bernier.
