moore will take whatever michigan offers him. where else is he going to go and paid that kind of money? manuel needs to think about the long term future kf the lrogram and if michigan wouldnt be better off in the long term with the mizzou coach or the kstate coach. but he wont. he'll hire moore because its the easiest thing to do and makes the most sense in the short term. and it could be the best decision in the long termz although i have my doubts.

homw team supposedly gets 3 points automatically. if deebo were healthy the line is probably closer to 10 but certainly over 7. the lions have two of the worst starting corners in the league. their linebackers arent great in coverage either which will hurt against mccaffery. the lions can certainly win this game, but the niners are favored for a reason: theyre very talented and they are playing at home.

mick cronin isnt exactly setting the world on fire at ucla. and why would he leave ucla for michigan? that's a step down in bball land. sean miller was in the center of the pay for play controversy and michigan wont touch that (unless thy name is harbaugh). musselman is 60. likely too old. we'll see if michigan can get past its holier than thou past and hire someone who isnt pristine and pure like a good michigan man should be /sarcasm. maybe this whole ncaa harbaugh witch hunt finally woke them up to the idea that the ncaa is a joke so you might as well just go along and get along. i doubt it. but a boy can dream.

tannehill is washed. justin fields hasnt gotten any better in 3 years. yes, the bears kill all living things, especially qbs, but fields still holds the ball way too long and then runs like a rabbit rather than moving efficiently through progressions. maybe someone will make him lamar jackson? you may recall that in lamar's second season he had one of the greatest seasons in nfl history. justin fields has not. the pats are an untalented team but they do have good structure and good leadership. mac jones just isnt good enough. might as well stick with howell. none of those guys will ever be very good (with the possible exception of fields), but drake maye might be. and if he is, he makes your franchise for a very long time.

or justin fields, ryan tannehill, or mac jones...

true, but i would be surprised. have you seen osu's team this year? they are a juggernaut.

no one is going to trade for holl or petry. for what? holl is a healthy scratch half the time and is on a three year deal. petry is ancient. its not worth it for the wings to deal him for a 6th round pick. might as well keep him for depth. gotisbeare is the logical player to move. he's a good offensive player and good on the power play, he's got one year left on his reasonable deal, and he can be replaced by seider on the pp and edvinsson in 5 on 5.

all those guys are in their first ahl season except edvinsson. no one should expect them to be tearing it up yet. it would be GREAT if they were, but they arent connor bedard. edvinsson is the one guy who should be performing well and IS performing well. if there is a disappointment, its soderblum.

dutcher has fab five ties. no way they ask him. plus he is 64 years old. nate oats should be their first call. he is local and has reportedly always wanted the michigan job. and he's a good coach.

it was fun while it lasted. the best coach in my lifetime (sorry bo) has moved on. he accomplished his mission and brought michigan higher than any coach since fritz crisler (sorry lloyd).
