  1. im not interested in giving up assets for another running back. we paid montgomery and spent a top 15 pick on gibbs. not giving up more draft capital for another running back. they have a lot of room for improvement at wide receiver and defensive tackle and oline depth, the last thing they need to do is spend more on ANOTHER running back.
  2. i dont think any of that matters. cowboys got talent for a middling resource. good tradr for them, imo. btw, reports now are that the lions were interested as well.
  3. theyre just hiding the real cause: VACCINES!
  4. https://cwbchicago.com/2023/08/bullet-that-struck-2-fans-during-white-sox-game-may-have-been-fired-a-mile-away.html hey look, someone got shot at the sox game last night. lol. can we shoot that franchise and put it out if its misery? i hope not, because the sox as a national embarassment is really fun to watch.
  5. no insurance company would have insured him. he was too big of a risk. or, if they would have, it would have cost the nationals a **** ton of money in premium.
  6. what's the drama?
  7. they stayed healthy. mission accomplished for the preseason.
  8. playing out an entire schedule of athletics with the equipment, travel, venue restrictions, organizing spectators, charging fees, etc is a lot different than organizing a conference group of academics to sit and eat lunch and pontificate a couple times a year.
  9. if it were easy, it would have been done already. football super tv money has distorted everything and made the old model (geographic based "conferences") obsolete.
  10. they'll get blown out by the chiefs and the national media will make fun of us aa "sol" like they usually do.
  11. and the sox are threatening to move again! nashville here they come! seeing white sox fans be miserable is so fun.
  12. kenny williams and rick hahn fired today. please please please name tony larussa gm.
  13. that's how i feel too. the lions got a lot of turnover luck in the second half of the season last year too. do we really think goff is going to go through the whole year not throwing any picks or fumbling? i doubt it.
  14. i think the vikings are being underrated this year.
  15. not this year. and i think run defense starts with the defenasive tackles. campbell will make plays 3 yards downfield.
  16. really nice to see tork coming along now. this season is turning out to pretty well, especially if meadows can stick in the bigs.
  17. amon ra is second team all nfl. jared goff is really good but not great. does not get a contract extension. gibbs is a fantasy football demon. montgomery gets close to jamal williams' td production but has more yards. mosely barely plays. run defense remains a huge problem. hutchinson contines to improve and records double digit sacks. julian okwara has a better season than romeo...but not in detroit. brian branch is amazing. going into the draft the only question is whether the lions will trade up for a receiver or stay at 20 and take one there.
  18. 10-7. lose the division to the vikings on a tie breaker. play dallas on the road in round one and lose. a statue is built to dan campbell.
  19. coward!
  20. if the ncaa were actually serious about its rules, tennessee would be banned from the post season for a long time. but theyre not. so they have to tweet out that "its not a cheeseburger" thus telling everyone that it is, in fact, a cheeseburger.
  21. he's recovering from surgery. i doubt he'll be fully healthy until after the start of the season.
  22. i'm beginning to doubt mosely plays this season.
  23. those are the only examples that matter, almost everyone else is either on the team or off it. those guys are one of the few battles. especially if melifonwu is hurt. he's on the chopping block too. injury might save him one more season of nfl playchecks.
  24. steve bye bye balboni
