  1. tater is willing to sell the farm, your brothers farm, and your sisters farm to get debrincat! come on tater, is 2019 patrick kane coming too? i'll take my chances with the picks over that. i wouldnt trade both first rounders for either pld or debrincat, much less two picks plus wallinder. i'll give you #17 and zadina for debrincat. final offer. who can beat that offer and sign him to an extension? if ottawa wants to roll the dice and let him walk for nothing, so be it. for pld i'll give you #17, boston's first, johannsen and zadina. make montreal beat that offer. and that's only if i can get him to sign an extension. and like you said, that's only if stevie thinks he can get him to play for you. if not, no deal.
  2. good thing we have all this cap space to spend on.... kyle kuzma and bruce brown.
  3. porzingis to boston is the rumor.
  4. i always thought vernon was just above average. kind of like ozzie.
  5. what are you going to trade to get debtincat and dubois?
  6. i dont know what del would do if we took another french kid.
  7. right! ive heard similar stuff. but teams can move money around to get him if they want.
  8. i dont get the fascination with jett howard. he was a lazy bum at michigan. he's already a millionaire thanks to his dad, i dont see how you get a kid suddenly motivated to succeed at the nba level when he couldnt be motivated to play for his dad in college.
  9. if he will only sign with detroit or dallas (which i find hard to believe), then detroit is the only team that can trade for him because it has the cap space and dallas (right now) does not.
  10. how was the crowd?
  11. 9 and 16 is not too rich for 5. i would never trade 5 for 9 and 28.
  12. i'd rather have wallace.
  13. hood schifino sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. i'd rather have walker.
  14. fwiw: hollinger has whitmore at 3 and walker at 12. walker as a defender but doesnt see where his offense will come from; whitmore as an uber athletic wing who can shoot and defend which, according to hollinger is "the most valuable commodity in the sport right now." i dont really trust hollinger, but that's where his head is at.
  15. he's certainly filling something up...
  16. espn (givony) has whitmore at 6 and walker at 7. nba draft net has whitmore at 7 and walker at 13. all over the map. but i havent seen one map have walker over whitmore. that said, i havent seen many, so there probably are some out there. i think you swing for the fences at 5, and to me that's a player like whitmore and definitely NOT a player like walker.
  17. vecinie is only one guy, but he has whitmore in the tier above walker. kevin pelton has whitmore at 3 and walker at 8.
  18. it'll be jarace. he's "tough." just like isaiah stewart. undersized, undertalented, but tough.
  19. there was no reason to give him a max deal AND a no trade clause. wiz again do it to themselves.
  20. whitmore should be the pick.
  21. reliever who throws hard but has control problems! yes sir! sign me up!
  22. who "found" the league did not properly communicate the gambling policies? oh! the players who got caught? the agents of those players? the union? lol. come on tater.
  23. how would hard knocks covering the lions make the league more money? 1) the contract with hbo is what it is, any supposed ratinga boost for the lions would give the league nothing. and that's assuming a second season with one of the leagues least popular and the worst franchise in its history would somehow lead to more viewers. 2) the jets with aaron rogers or the bears (one of the leagues most popular teams) are available. your last sentence is correct. they dont care about the lions doing hard knocks.
