a lot of those receivers are open for bryce young because he bought enough time with his legs to get them open. bryce young has been a magician this year. bama probably has 3 losses if not for him.

killian is here to stay. they need someone to translate for victor when he gets here. show him around the best places to get coq au vin. -
an apology for any mistake, acceptance of the apology, and further discussion is all that is needed. there is no need for "punishment." there is need for forgiveness and understanding. if a pattern of disrespect emerges, then that should be dealt with differently. but one instance like this is not a cause for giving the internet mobs and ace anbender's of the world their pound of flesh.

cade can totally be the guy you build around. he's in his second year and he missed most of his first with injuries. he is the prototype of what you want: shooter, ball handler, wing sized, can create his own shot in multiple ways. he needs to be more consistent, obviously. but i still think he can be an all star in this league in a few years. steoh curry didnt really become STEPH CURRY until year 4. and wasnt an all star unt year 5. give cade some time. -
no. i said if a guy plays on the minimum for three years and gets to his arb years he could be set for life if he invests his money well, or even not so well. three years at 700k plus one year at a slight raise over 700k? you could totally live on that if you invested wisely. buy a franchise. invest in some properties. heck, invest in some properties and then get a coaching gig. but you'd have to live an average lifestyle as a ballplayer, which many young people dont do. i have a relative who is a boxer. boxed a few fights. made it to tv as the designated victim for a younger fighter a few times. made an ok payday. then used the money to buy a gym in mexico and now he trains fighters, but has some income from the gym. he'll never be rich, but he's got an income stream for himself. ballplayers will make much much more money than that and can use it to set themselves up for a comfortable life if they want.

i think that's your lions bias. and no team in the nfl is fully healthy. have you seen the dolphins injury report? they lost their entire secondary a few weeks ago. the niners were down 9 starters on defense the other day. would you rank the lions above the bears? the bears whooped the pats in new england, beat the niners in a flood, almost beat the vikings, and played the giants very tough. their resume is better than detroit's. honestly, everyone's resume is better than detroit's. we only really pay attention to detroit, but other teams have issues too. next year i expect them to be in the middle of the pack in the league, but theyre not there yet. not close really, imo. -

okudah played really well in the last game. he was basically playing as a linebacker/box safety. played the run very well. we've all seen okudah get dusted by top receivers this year when he doesnt have safety help. is it possible that okudah's best position is at safety? someone strong enough to play the run in the box but also good enough to cover receivers? he may be more suited to that role than a "#1 corner". of course that means the lions still need a top cover corner, but i think we all knew that anyway. current draft needs: cornerback quarterback defensive tackle linebacker playmaking running back interior oline -

i also find it very hard to believe the lions are the 15th best team in the nfl. the lions are in the bottom third of teams at best, imo, with maybe the least talented defense in the league. -

do the wings employ the lions' trainer? sheesh.

almost any baseball player who gets to arbitration should have enough money to live on with some sensible investments. its now $700k per year at the minimum. invest that in some rental properties and you have a nice nest egg for your future. but young people gonna do what young people gonna do...

agreed. part of it is weaver has given him a pretty unathletic team. ivey and duren were a step in the right direction of changing that. but it will take some time. -

1) ace anbender is an ass hole. dont listen to that clown. 2) someone should ask edwards about it. did he just make a mistake? if so, then apologize. have him talk to somebody. kanye west is a clown begging for attention who has done this time and time again. donovan edwards is a kid who might not know better. before we ruin his life, lets try to talk to him about it, see what the issue is, and make a decision on whether something should be done.

the problem i see with cade being the main ball handler is that he seems to think that means he should pass and defer. get everyone involved early in theory, that's what a point guard should do, but in the modern nba and on THIS team? i want to see cade be more selfish and look for his own shot more. also....making that shot more would be helpful too.
