back to back's are a bitch. -
it's michigan state. he'll probably be a captain next week. need i remind everyone that saint mark dantonio once had a player actually go to jail because he broke another's students bones and ended his hockey career? why did the east lansing cops put him in jail instead of letting him go like they usually do? because it was the second time he did it. and saint mark put him back on the team the day he got out of jail. we'll see if tucker will suspend the guy or say "we'll handle it internally" and then wait for it to blow over. if the guy isnt any good, he'll probably come down hard on him.

same thing last year too. i think its more that harbaugh knows they arent likely to lose these games unless they turn the ball over. so get points and play defense. osu will be a different story. like last year, they'll need tds. i think they open the playbook for that game.

nobody should be putting their hands on anybody. they should kick that fan out and take his tickets away.
-
edwards is a good rb and a threat out of the backfield. why would you limit him by making him a wr?
-
hongbit was trying to say michigan players instigated it and asked for it. we all love bonghit, but he is a long time michigan "antagonist" and likes nothing better than to rile us up. lol.

if you throw punches you should be disciplined. if not, there should be no discipline. we can have a larger discussion about how sportsmanship is no longer a virtue extolled by society, and how its now ok to talk shit as a matter of "individual expression", but leaving those issues aside the fact remains that players talk shit to each other. it doesnt give you the right to beat someone up. even if you lost the game. if you lose, you take it and move on.

but officer, look at the way she's dressed! she was asking for it. i had no choice!
-
i was wrong before, it isnt 60 years, its almost 100. and its happened twice that we know about. players take shit to each other all game and after the game. i guess in your mind that means the other side is ok to beat the shit out of them.
-
the tunnel has been there for 60 years and there has been "trouble" in two games.

this is what happens when you let players be general managers. i love it. kyrie doubling down on stupid is just hilarious. i wonder what team will give him big money next year? the lakers?
-
there isnt a lot of evidence that mel tucker is a good coach. but hey, he beat michigan twice, which is all that matters in east lansing. harbaugh continues to bring michigan back to its roots: light non conference schedule, running the table in the big ten until the osu game for all the marbles, occasional upset loss once a year, losing the bowl game. good to see sparty back to being sparty. getting whooped on the field, committing multiple unsportsmanlike penalties, then trying to hurt people. the 80s are back, baby!

does brooklyn own their pick?

buzbee is such a scum bag. the spurs said primo "needs to work on some things." no kidding.

good win considering how many players they are missing. suter drives me nuts with the missed opportunities. zadina was nothing, as usual. larkin left seider out to dry on the goal. seider with the pinch and larkin with a half assed cover for him. raymond with a good game. was close to 3 or 4 goals tonight.
-
finally raymond.

they cant buy a break right now.

i dont think osu looked good in that game. they took advantage of penn state's starting right tackle being out. that and clifford not being very good. osu didnt run the ball well on penn state, that doesnt bode well. otoh, they threw the ball well and their receivers played very well against the two best corners in the conference. stroud reminds me of justin fields, only less athletic. he doesnt seem to know what's happening in the game, but he can throw darts to his receivers, and those receivers are good enough to catch anything that comes their way. osu's skill position talent is as good as anyone in the country, but i'm still not sold on them in the trenches. at the end of the day, as long as james franklin is there penn state will recruit like crazy and underachieve. he got lightning in a bottle with joe moorhead and saquon barkley but has looked totally discombobulated sense.

the only game that matters to state is this saturday. win that one and they'll tack another $20 million on to tucker's contract.

except cade passes the ball. and plays defense. -
legit third line player, which is probably his ceiling. but ras has shown improvement over before when he was borderline unplayable. i still think the biggest problem for this club is defense. getting the puck and moving it out of their own zone. theyre very poor at that.

the thing about the teal was there was no reason to do it. they wanted to break from their past? why? celebrate the past, dont change for change's sake. it was a dumb thing to do and it failed both on the court and in the marketplace because they abandoned it a few years later and went back to their roots. the pistons have nice uniforms and good colors. there is no need for teal. -
in two years he might be paying $1 billion in salary + penalties.

im still biased against most if the players kenny acquired in his last few years. that includes ras, zadina, hronek, veleno, lindstrom. they just havent developed. yes, they are still young. but that excuse is almost over. you think you'd see some real growth by now if they were ever going to be anything more than solid third/fourth line players.
