  1. i didnt laugh. but i do think they'll be better than 63 this year. not by much though.
  2. just another reminder how stan van gundy set the franchise back a decade.
  3. stanley johnson has cleared waivers.
  4. its pretty obvious they arent happy with something about vrana. i suspect he'll be next to impossible to move given his lack of production and salary. he was on waivers and no one touched him, why would anyone now give up assets for him? seems far fetched to me. if he wants to rebuild trust with the team - and rebuild his career - he'll toe the line and get his act together on and off the ice. if not, c'est la vie. not every trade works out.
  5. if the lions are a success story next year, i anticipate we will lose glenn and johnson.
  6. i hope it sticks. theyre finally playing better (level of competition caveats apply) but could really use that scoring.
  7. pecota has us at 63 wins....but not last place!
  8. $600 or $28,000. good luck on your ace....
  9. from tom izzo's basement...
  10. bertuzzi playing well. what might have been if bert were healthy and vrana had his head together.
  11. larkin with a great move on the breakaway for another goal. zadina, otoh, had a one on one and - surprise - shot it right at the goalie.
  12. i dont know why theyre rated lower than the vikings. the vikings are going to have rebuild that whole team other than justin jefferson.
  13. yes, but the pistons made the playoffs in 1999, so maybe not. who could forget the christian laetner/loy vaught pistons?
  14. yes! another center! i'm pumped.
  15. good loss. i see killian turned back into killian.
  16. larkin also has a no trade clause. so he would have to agree to a trade. larking brings back a first, a decent young player, and a good prospect. bertuzzi rumors are heating up a bit. dallas mentioned. edmonton too but they have no room. we'd have to take salary back.
  17. cross hanas with shoulder surgery. out for the rest of the season.
  18. who has been a bigger disappointment? stanley johnson or justice winslow?
  19. would you accept an old stay at home defenseman, plus secondary prospects, plus draft picks for dylan larkin?
  20. i bet at the time of smith/monroe/drummond you were very excited about that too. 😉
  21. we should know tonight whether we get to see the pistons run out smith/monroe/drummond 2.0.
  22. he was injured the year before too. that should tell you something about dj chark next year. i dont see it. but you never know. he has potential.
  23. why would anyone pay that kind of money for dj chark? there are likely to be multiple receivers available who are better who will sign for less money than that. plus jaymo will presumably be healthy. if they want chark they can get him for less than that. and i hope they will let him go if he wants more. this reminds me of the jamal williams arguments. he's a decent player but not a world beater. he's replaceable. same as chark. save your money for the sewell and st brown extensions you have coming up.
  24. good thing we traded a future first round pick to get isaiah stewart. totally good use of resources to draft a guy who may be a nice bench player on a team that's won barely 20 games for the last three years.
