toss up. hutch, thibs, hamilton, walker.
-
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/kyle-hamilton/32004841-4d24-6970-5c23-1fbf7506b4a0 hard to argue against taking a guy with that scouting report.
-
so youre wondering if jonathan schoop would bring back a better package than jd martinez?
-
i assume hamilton would be the "in the box" linebacker and walker would be your "centerfielder". hamilton would run with tight ends but is unlikely to be able to cover receivers.
-
the problem with hamilton - if there is one - is that he's too slow to be an nfl safety and too small to be an effective nfl linebacker. that's the worry.
-
trading down is ridiculous on those things, but its fun to play with.
-
real men do seven round mocks.
-
ragnow too. i know he's a really good player but he's a center. not exactly a premium position. but that was bob quinn and bob quinn was bad at his job.
-
i thought they both looked fine, amd both bring needed depth (and size at forward). my only caution is that they were playing one of the worst teams in the league. the flyers are bad.
-
double derozen, keep your shot blocker inside so lavine cant dunk, and then dare vuc to beat you from outside. boom. they cant score. lavine will get frustrated and start jacking up threes or throwing the ball away. pwill is hurt and too timid to shoot. ayo stands in the corner and watches. ball is hurt and caruso is caruso. theyre a better team than they have been in years, but still rely on derozen to be superman to get where they are. at this rate they'll be lucky to avoid the playoff, although that win over toronto was huge a couple days ago.

seider threw a blind pass into raymond's skates on that play. i was more critical of seider for not just dumping the puck to center than raymond. either way, vrana has looked fantastic tonight. this team needs a second line center so bad. vrana and raymond are both first class snipers but only one can play with larkin (and bert). another larkin-ish center on line two would make this team so much better offensively.
-
wow. bert with the great turnover in the middle, larkin with the patient possession and great pass and vrana with the great shot again.
-
what a shot by raymond.
-
one thing about sundquivst is that he's big. this team needs some size (and size that uses size, not like rasmussen who is just big and doesnt use it effectively).
-
can vrana teach zadina how to aim for the corners instead of shooting it right at the goalie?

willis has been wildly inaccurate in college, especially against better defenses. you compare him to trey lance, but he's also 4 inches shorter than lance and wasnt nearly as good in college. otoh, lance and justin fields were "rated" similarly to willis, but both were rated a little higher. is that enough to take willis at #2? jalen hurts with a better arm? is he appreciably better than matt corral or kenny pickett?

cruz did his job. got his talking points in. has absolutely nothing to do with the supreme courtz but he knew that and so did kentaji brown who let him talk and answered the non- questions perfectly.
-
ive done that pff mock draft and the trade offers they give you for #2 are ridiculous (although not as ridiculous as the jets giving up 4 and 10 for 2, that will NEVER happen). like carolina would have trade me their entire draft next year and this year for #2. yeah, ok. is mike ditka running the panthers all of a sudden?
-
these hearings are just about talking points. the gop is getting their talking points in for the next election cycle: crt, soft on crime, crt, soft on crime. cruz brought up the 1619 project for god's sake! the democrats are slobbering all over her like she's the greatest person who ever lived and praising themselves for putting a black woman on the bench, getting their message across: equity, diversity, we love black people, gop is racist. they arent there to ask questions and they dont care how she answers, its all about getting their message across and the press will cover it. im surprised cruz hasnt asked her about trans athletes. whatever issue will poll well for republicans is what they will "ask" her about. she's doing what she needs to do: stay neutral, say youre committed to "stare decisis", and dont say anything remotely revealing. its a dog and pony show. she'll be confirmed on party lines with a couple republicans jumping over and voting for her.

LOCKOUT '22: When will we see baseball again?
buddha replied to Motor City Sonics's topic in Detroit Tigers
The previous record for money spent on free-agent contracts in one offseason was around $2.4 billion in 2016. This year, 130 players have signed major league contracts for $3.265 billion. That's a 36% increase. *** poor players. i dont know how they get by.- 1,851 replies

if the lions dont like any qbs this year, then i hope they can trade down and get some picks because they will need a shit ton of ammo to trade up next year. 75% of the nfc needs a qb. 50% of the nfc will be just as bad as detroit next year. there is going to be a lot of competition for qbs next year. that said, the last thing they need is to draft the next akili smith...

ivey is very similar to jalen green.

turnovers are overrated as a stat anyway. if youre the main offensive creator and ballhandler who can get his own shot and shots for others, youre gonna have some turnovers. if youre just a point guard standing on the perimeter lobbing the ball into the post or hitting a jumpshooter on a curl and are surrounded by good finishers, you'll have less. and yes, this is a comment on why isiah was and will always be a better player than john stockton's supremely overrated ass. -
ernie was a really good egg.
