  1. play em together.
  2. my wings watching now is rooting for seider and raymond to get points. also, watching seider play defense and just seemingly get better every game.
  3. matt miller lions mock today: 1: hutch 1: corrall 2: dotson 3: jalen tolbert wr 97: cam jurgens c nebraska 176: jack sanborn, lb wisconsin 179: deangelo malone db wku 218: dane belton s iowa (to make kl happy, no doubt) 232: johnny johnson wr oregon 240: thomas booker, dt stanford seems fine. not sure i would 1) take dotson because he's a slot receiver and they already have st brown; and 2) double up on receiver if one of the projected linebackers or safeties are there (muma, asomoah, brisker, hill).
  4. how hard are the houston rockets laughing right now at brooklyn? gave up a garnett/pierce haul to get a guy who quit on your team in one year. lol.
  5. i really hope that's not true.
  6. if only those teams could have found some decent pitching.
  7. that's what i took from the totality of all your posts. it could be that i interpreted them incorrectly considering how much snark they contain. 🙂
  8. simmons likely going to nets in some deal for harden.
  9. i hope he wins this super bowl. go rams! if the lions cant win it next year, i hope he wins it again.
  10. getting something of value for grant is weaver's most important job right now.
  11. i agree with you. i was responding to chas's point about how we all have great access so of course we dont think its a problem. ok, but nobody seems to think its a big problem...because its not. as noted, i think its not an earth shattering problem. we are not descending into fascism because we have to put our drivers license number on an envelope if we choose to mail in our ballots. most people find it quite easy to vote. almost everyone (99.99%) has access to voting. its not hard. its not jim crow. that said, that doesnt mean it cant be made easier and more accessible to people. many of the ideas in the bill are fine and might even improve the situation. and anything that proposes to end partisan gerrymandering is a good thing. THAT is a scourge on american politics.
  12. because they have voting access now and there are other issues that are more important to them.
  13. food prices have gone up quite a bit.
  14. dont worry, we'll tell the great unwashed what's good for them.
  15. counterpoint: most americans like the things that are in the bill. i dont think the heated rhetoric helps democrats, but thats just politics. voter id is not jim crow. most americans - including most black americans - are in favor of voter id.
  16. polling shows that no group of americans think voting access is an important issue. this includes black americans.
  17. espn proposal: grant to bulls pwill and derrick jones jr to detroit. given what levert went for, i would hope the pistons could wrangle that portland protected first from the bulls too. otoh, just get rid of grant, and pwill has a ton of upside and is potentially what this team needs: an athletic wing. ANY athletic wing! please!
  18. keith law tiger top 20: greene, tork, dingler, jobe, kriedler, pacheco, dylan smith, ty madden, cristian santana, roberto campos. colt keith, beau briske, gage workman, parker meadows, austin bergner, joey wentz, wilmer flores, eric de la rosa, eli alfonzo, manuel segura. no faedo. not nearly as high on wentz as some people here. jobe is lower because he's a high school arm and those have a high fail rate. hasnt pitched against pros yet, so he could move up really quickly if he lives up to his potential. lots of young internationals in the top 10 now. a good sign if they progress, or a sign that picking high hasnt netted all that much other than the first rounders. or both.
  19. just move it to a sunday like everyone else.
  20. my wife did it. she liked it. but its a long day. the real issue is that its run by state and local officials. america's issue with so many different units of authority spread out all over this vast country of ours, not every one has the same rules and abilities as others. so you get a hodge podge of different voting scenarios. i think the longest ive ever waited to vote was 15 minutes, but i go as soon as the polling place opens and its right across the street from me now. not everyone has that kind of luxury. when i was in college i took the local bus to the polling place, that's about as far as ive ever gone to vote.
  21. oh he'll get paid. from kamara and from the place where he got his ass kicked.
  22. yes. you might be surprised about kids today. theyre still mean little ass holes, but not a lot of racial stuff. i also live in la la liberal land so i imagine its different elsewhere. for example, once a month they have an "eye on equity" meeting with the principal and vice principal (both hispanic) where they talk to parents (all white parents) about race and racism. as you might imagine, i am often the lone dissenter (but only because my wife refuses to contribute). my wife is mexican, she gets more racist shit thrown at her by fellow mexicans (youre a coconut, anti-white and anti-american slurs) than anything in america. she had one incident once in arkansas, but that was it.
