  1. here go the tackles.
  2. maybe willis will be available at 32...
  3. or listening to chris berman say who the pick is so everyone can think he's smart about football.
  4. no point in waiting to see if teams will trade up since no team is trading up this year into the top picks.
  5. how did thibs do against ohio state? oh yeah, he sat out that game.
  6. so.....does a qb go to carolina?
  7. as long as he loves him some jesus, he'll fit right in.
  8. look at all those people they paid to dress up as jaguars fans.
  9. hey, were better than the reds.
  10. did people think we were going to be good?
  11. it could be worse, we could be reds fans. theyre 3-16
  12. avila is totally to blame. its not that the tanking was bad, because the tanking has brought them top prospects who are heavily predicted to be good players. the problem is that - other than skubal - there does not appear to be a lot in the system to help. and that's on avila who has been in charge of drafting for the last 5 years and was heavily involved in the process before then. this is 100% on al avila and the tigers' inability to draft and develop talent. with all that said, they seem to be moving in the right direction finally in the last few years. it may just be too early to see results from that (which is not to excuse his earlier failures).
  13. as has been said many times, other than skubal, they really havent developed anyone other than their guys taken at the top of round one. and the jury is still out on those guys too. otoh its a long season and they started slow las lt year too. plenty of time.
  14. if you go by athletic traits you take thibs, if you go by college production you take hutch. i think both will be fine, but thibs has the hire bust potential, imo. since hutch went to michigan, i want the lions to take him.
  15. you mean "the next chris paul"?
  16. tesla got into that market first and has created itself into a luxury brand with a ton of brand loyalty. the stock price is due to a lot of tangential things, but the company continues to grow and carve out a niche for itself. if the stock orice ever comes down, you'd think they would be a prime takeover/merger target for someone like toyota. if im musk, i'm using this money i have now to buy other stuff before the inevitable tesla stock price decline.
  17. ok, then you can preface every post on this message board with "i dont know." none of us "know". we have opinions.
  18. and how do you know they need to replace them? you dont. i "know" things the same way you do: "by reading shit and making up opinions" lol. in other words, youre right, i have no idea. my only knowledge comes from reading certain stuff and then formulating my usual half assed opinion. but as to twittwr, it has been written about for a long time in many different places that as an organization twitter has an insufficient business model that has held back its earning potential. a reorg is coming. as to musk's intentions vis a vis twitter's labor force, all new management guts old management after a takeover, and the quickest way to get an increase in profit is to cut the labor costs. all signs point to mass firings/quittings. the mainstream press will gleefully report that musk is tearing down twitter as some form of revenge and that he's an evil racist white man out to endanger minorities on twitter. the right will portray him as some sort of avenging crusader for free speech rights against wokist dictators. in truth, its what happens whenever new management moves in.
