i dont think anything you wrote shows what i said was false. and i remember tiger mgmt talking about how they wanted the park to be different from tiger stadium and wanted a huge ballpark with a big outfield. and they moved the fences in considerably from the original design.

when you design your stadium around making it a park that fits the skills of Brian Hunter, you've made a horrible mistake.

that's what i really didnt like about comerica: it goes against the history of the team. the tigers played in tiger stadium and had a history of power hitters and home run threats with that overhang and short porch in right. and they build this massive monstrosity of a field designed to have a "national league" type team built on speed and less home runs.

a couple of observations: dj chark was not the deep threat as advertised. goff is still not very good under pressure. sure, the receivers didnt help him a ton, but he also missed some open guys. ultimately, goff is but a placeholder until they can draft or acquire a true game changer at qb. jameson williams will have no problem breaking into this receiver room. st brown is a good slot receiver. everyone else is easily replaceable. i thought hockenson played well. oline was good. tackles seemed to play real well. defensive line got pushed around but that's to be expected because the eagles oline is really good. missing on levi and paschal is really going to hurt if they cant play.

true, but have you seen tampa's oline? and tampa's qb is a bit less mobile...

i do like dallas at +2.5 against tampa tonight. i think tampa is overrated this year.
