  1. theyre going to be carrying a lot of dead money next year, especially if they move off from goff and flowers. they have to get rid of all the stupid contracts quinn signed for marginal/good players. a roster full of the average at best, buoyed by a good qb. remove the qb and you get 0-7.
  2. another day another blow out. the tank plan is set in motion! now trade grant, see if you can get something for jackson and put this baby on cruise control for 20 wins!
  3. no cade? what's the fucking point? can our #1 pick play in more than 20 games this year?
  4. no, it just means the bengals arent really that good and "any given sunday" happens in the nfl to most other teams...just not the lions apparently.
  5. boyle should be the starter after the bye. goff is finished. there is no reason to pretend he can play qb anymore.
  6. your bengals just lost to the jets. and that's the jets with an undrafted free agent qb in his first start who threw for 400 yards.
  7. An embarrassing day for the an organization that has had more embarrassing days than any other professional sports team in american history.
  8. he could be fine, i guess. but its another reason why you dont take running backs high in the draft. a dime a dozen.
  9. you blamed stafford for years! come eat some crow.
  10. i like the draft picks. everything else was a shot in the dark and none of them have paid off. charles harris has been ok, i guess.
  11. stafford with another td pass. 38-0.
  12. well, our attempt at dumpster diving to improve on the worst roster in the league has been an unqualified disaster. breshad perriman? tyrell williams? trinity benson? goff? anzalone? brockers? again, this team was terrible. and then the only good players they have (okwara, ragnow, decker) got hurt.
  13. oh my god.
  14. Rams up 31-0 and stafford with 3 td passes. huh, maybe he wasnt the problem after all?
  15. its 4th and 11 and he THREW IT OUT OF BOUNDS! PLEASE. BENCH. HIM.
  16. this is the bengals game all over again. they come out completely flat and cant stop anyone. the offense is nothing but mistake after mistake and goff is terrible. even when he makes a good play their god awful receivers drop the ball. the thing is, the lions will win a game or two at some point. why? because that will ensure they dont get the #1 pick!
  17. even worse is not being able to get 1 yard on the previous play where swift just falls down and cant get another inch. really disappointing from him. they miss williams a lot. he gets that first for sure.
  18. is there any upside left in pickett? older playing doing well in a bad conference? you like him as a first round pick?
  19. i doubt campbell calls the plays, that's lynn. i know you're down 17 and you need points, but there's only 13 seconds left and you only have one time out left. even if you get the first, you have one more play. i like the aggressiveness, but there you need to take the points.
  20. vrana-larkin-bertuzzi gives you a line with a ton of speed. i know raymond has been playing well with larkin-bert, but i wouldnt mind seeing larkin and vrana together for a bit. it will be real interesting next year after the wings trade their #1 pick plus zadina for jack eichel...
  21. goff just looked at hockenson and if he wasnt open, he fell down.
  22. goff really is one of the worst qbs i've ever seen. i want an apology from the "he led a team to the super bowl he's not that bad" crowd. i mean, step up! stop turning around and running backwards when you get pressure on the edge! youre walking yourself into multiple sacks. i know blough isnt any better, but come on. at least maybe he can roll out a bit. enough of goff. time to bench him.
  23. sure, but the point remains. the populist left and right have a mutual distaste for international trade agreements that make it easier for companies to outsource their labor to cheaper suppliers. those of us in the middle love the benefits of cheaper goods and companies love the profits and ability to avoid those messy environmental regulations. if we didnt have this completely toxic political environment, one would think it would be common ground to get something done.
  24. let's just all be happy the hawks lost again.
