I think there is good chance Trump would run as a third party candidate. I am pretty sure he doesn't give a crap about the Republican party and is only using it to his personal advantage. He would have no problem messing them up. At this point though, I am still thinking he'll get the nomination.

I don't think police intend to to hunt and kill Blacks, but there is racial profiling. I believe Blacks are more more likely to be pulled over for minor traffic violations and are dealt with more aggressively due to profiling. As Gehringer suggested the other day, I do agree that we should trying to do more to rectify things like poverty and poor education rather than policing poor areas into submission.

The biggest problem with Greene was his 29% k rate which is huge for someone with a .109 ISO. I think he'll improve on that next year, but that's an ugly k rate.

I do think thre are some fans who have overstated Greene's performance last year, but that might be because the rest of the team was so horrible. I will say though that Greene did significantly better than Torkelson offensively .

One of Hinch's strengths in his first year with the Tigers was supposedly his manipulation of the roster and his influence over construction of the 25-man roster over the course of the season. I think Rolen and Whitaker are pretty similar. Very good for a long time, but never superstars. Rolen did have 9.2 WAR in 2004, but it was driven, in part, by a huge defensive year which may have been a fluke. I am also surprised he got in, because he is not the type of player the BBWAA usually notices.

I also do not think Pence was doing anything nefarious. I absolutely can not say the same thing about Trump.
