  1. Germain Ifedi was picked up by the Bills
  2. Campbell has always loved him those six-linemen sets. It doesn’t surprise me he would be a believer in the fullback.
  3. The 21 offensive players to 29 defensive players split doesn’t seem sustainable. I think they saw more defensive players who may be good trade candidates (i.e., the Okwaras).
  4. Patriots waived Malik Cunningham. That could be an interesting addition, as he could be your QB3 as well as a WR, depending on what you want/need.
  5. Starling Thomas waived
  6. Right. It’s a one-or-the-other scenario. If he clears waivers and goes to the PS, then theoretically at any point they could elevate him to the inactive game day roster from the practice squad if Goff turned an ankle or something in walkthroughs and they wanted a QB3 on standby. But he can’t be both on the PS and the emergency game day QB.
  7. They could still pickup someone who was cut elsewhere. It’s what they did with Sudfeld last year when neither Blough or Boyle impressed them.
  8. Martinez waived so Lions will only carry two QBs assuming the Sudfeld news gets confirmed.
  9. Cardinals waived their presumed starting QB Colt McCoy.
  10. Dylan Drummond cut.
  11. I think they REALLY like Charles Harris. But the price for Houston has to be enormous. You don’t just trade away someone coming off rookie production like that for pennies.
  12. 13 cuts overnight, none surprising. Trinity Benson and Germain Ifedi were on the list though.
  13. The Bears offensive line sucks but so does their coaching staff. You are probably correct though.
  14. Given the lack of IOL depth on the team (beyond Glasgow), I wonder if the Lions kick the tires here. He’s been a colossal bust to this point, and if he couldn’t make the Bears he probably can’t cut it here, but Mayock and the Raiders weren’t the only ones with a high grade on him. He started at Alabama and won two National Championships. https://x.com/rapsheet/status/1695937734106312951?s=46&t=nM4aynsjXcVmanGRUm_P_A [Rapoport reporting through Elon’s terrible site that Alex Leatherwood is being released by the Bears]
  15. Just to add, I’m not saying this is going to derail the Cowboys season or anything. I just don’t think it’s a move that makes a lot of sense or inspires a lot of confidence in your starting QB two weeks before opening day.
  16. Dak is entering a contract year. Expending relatively significant resources to bring in a former #3 overall pick without any NFL starting experience is going to get in Dak’s ear and is going to cause a stir in the fanbase.
  17. I don’t think I like the super extended reviews generally. I don’t know how long it actually took but it felt like it took forever. If it takes more than two minutes, cut the official’s feed and let the call on the field stand. If we are evaluating when the ball was bobbled, when the pylon was touched, when the ball was regained, and where the ball was in relation to the goal line, all at the same time, we are doing too much - letting cameras officiate the game. Let’s just play football.
  18. woah. I’m the only one in the world watching right now but the Panthers just got BONED on a review.
  19. Patterson missed the XP
  20. I hadn’t seen that Sudfeld got carted off. Reported by Twentymen.
  21. Trey Lance to the Cowboys too. I wouldn’t be happy about that as a Cowboys fan. Unnecessary drama when you’re supposed to be a top five team in the NFC. I’m impressed the 9ers got a 4th round pick for someone they publicly admitted was their QB3. Of course unnecessary drama is the Jerry Jones way.
  22. And a fumble recovery to follow! I would want time put back on the clock if this game mattered
  23. Forward down the field….
  24. Personally, I never had a doubt.
  25. Parker Meadows with a walk off home run on the other TV after the Tigers were one-hit through 26 outs.
