  1. Glad he seemed to handle things well.
  2. Still a lot of perceived value on the board for day three. Antonio Johnson is a slot corner with immense upside. Jarrett Patterson is a potential future starting offensive guard. Kelee Ringo is a potential starting outside corner. Cam Mitchell too. AT Perry and Andrei Iosivas are both still there as tall receivers. Adetomiwa Adebawore has a lot of talent as a pass rusher but lacks a natural position, which is I’m sure why he’s falling. Noah Sewell is a culture fit at a position that probably still needs a little depth. Jammie Robinson was a guy they met several times through the process.
  3. Lol truly. 6'3" / 339 lbs and running a 5.31 40?? Nope.
  4. Instant Reactions: Jahmyr Gibbs: B+ Jack Campbell: B+ Sam LaPorta: B+ Brian Branch: A+ Hendon Hooker: A Brodric Martin: C-
  5. Holmes has owned the board through two days. No one is going to tell him where he's going to pick. I haven't been counting but it feels like there have been an equal number of trades to picks.
  6. This is definitely an outlier pick. I'm curious what Holmes says about him. He's the first player the Lions have taken with a RAS score this poor since Jermar Jefferson in the 7th round of 2021.
  7. Bahahahahahaha a 3rd round kicker.
  8. This is the first player who I don't really have an opinion on. The trade made sense, because we didn't have enough roster spots for the number of picks we had remaining.
  9. Roger Goodell every time he pulls the military trope out.
  10. Pittsburgh is a dangerous spot for Washington to land.
  11. Fun fact, it wouldn't let me put in "Hooker" due to perceived profanity.
  12. Wouldn't put it past Holmes to package the 4th and a 5th (and maybe Swift) to move back into the late 3rd if he sees someone he really likes. It would be difficult for five more players at this stage to make this team.
  13. I'm not calling Hooker Joe Burrow. But. He was on a Burrow-like trajectory with what he was doing at Tennessee until he tore his ACL. He was a Heisman contender on a 9-1 Tennessee team and then he went down and everyone saw his age and injury and shied away. I'm not calling Hooker Joe Burrow. He was probably never going to go 1.1 because of his age and Young/Stroud being there. But the upside is there, and if he had stayed healthy and won the Heisman, he's probably looking at going #4 to the Colts. In the 3rd round, even if the worst case scenario comes to fruition and he never even sees the field, it's a 3rd round bust. Kind of like Iffy is looking like. If it wasn't clear, I'm not calling Hooker Joe Burrow.
  14. That would have made more sense when we traded to get above Robert Kraft.
  15. Is the #69 available for Hooker's jersey? Asking for a friend.
  16. He might not be able to wait until Monday to get in front of a mic lol
  17. It's very interesting that the Lions traded back not once but twice before selecting Hooker. That doesn't exactly exude confidence that he's your 2024 or 2025 starting QB. Ultimately I like it because I think the upside is through the roof for a 3rd round pick. Worst case he never sees the field, and that sucks for a 3rd, but it's also not the end of the world (like a 1st round QB busting could be).
