  1. Yes it was. I'll take 48 and Okudah for Branch all day.
  2. Looks like it was 55+, not 48. -edit- my Twitter source was wrong. 48 and 159 for 45. Good deal.
  3. Say what you will about positional value, but we have found four starters through four picks so far.
  4. They rehearse for transitions like this. "Lions trade! Commercials go go go!"
  5. Ahead of New England and Washington........ Hooker? Branch? Benton?
  6. ESPN goes to playoff basketball and immediately watches their ratings tank.
  7. Coupled with Montgomery, it seems to be a trait the Lions value. Which I understand. When the goal is to make it ten yards in 3-4 tries, a single missed tackle can be the difference between 0 and 3 points, or 3 and 7.
  8. I blew through my reactions today this morning, so I think I'll start creating my own. For this post:
  9. I wonder if Branch is this year's Nakobe Dean. He's hanging around after having mock projections in the teens.
  10. If LaPorta was an inch taller they'd probably have nearly identical RAS scores.
  11. TJ is probably a decent comp. He went 34 though instead of 8, 10, or 20 though, so it's ok.
  12. Mayer is a quasi slot receiver. He doesn't excel as a blocker and while he's a phenomenal route runner and pass receiver, he didn't make sense for how we use our TEs. LaPorta is an athlete, and will still run those routes and catch those passes, but he'll also kick your ass in the blocking game.
  13. No one cares about a lack of institutional control when you win back-to-back nattys.
  14. I'm a little surprised that we took him at #34, but I like the fit. Mayer was the media darling, but he wasn't a fit with the Lions. Washington had the dreaded "character concerns".
  15. Levis has that frat dude douche look to him.
  16. There goes Levis, who left KC last night lol I think I want Branch. Plug and play in the slot.
  17. Cardinals moving with the Titans.... Levis??
  18. There goes Porter. Porter for Claypool is dumb dumb dumb on the Bears part.
  19. Not a fan of the ergonomics of Pittsburgh's war room.
  20. Bold of Goodell to hype up the boos while standing in front of their token service members. LOL I forgot the Space Force is a thing.
  21. Levi and Iffy are both fair criticisms though I still have hope Iffy turns into solid depth. I don't think anyone from last year but Hutch can be judged yet. Between Jamo, Paschal, and Mitchell it's pretty obvious in hindsight that Holmes was looking towards 2023 and 2024 with that draft.
