  1. I would sell out on the run up the gut here. If they get cute let them beat you. I am betting they’re going to go power.
  2. If they don’t get it on 3rd down the Lions should probably take a timeout.
  3. Arnold needs to figure it out soon or he’s subject to being replaced next offseason.
  4. Baltimore is getting the ball after the half, need to be up at the half.
  5. That’s the kind of drive that wins championships. And I swear it’s not the beer typing. Yet.
  6. Who needs a Tush Push when Jared Goff can get it himself
  7. Literally worse than a boneheaded shove out of bounds. He cost us 20 yards:
  8. Here comes a 97-yard drive that we never look back from. And then I woke up.
  9. Personally I had full faith and confidence in our defense this drive. 👀
  10. If they’re down 14-7 in ten minutes, that drive will haunt us the entire game.
  11. Clearly incomplete except to the seven people paid to know. This blown drive could legitimately cost us the game.
  12. Jahvid Best could score with a hole that big.
  13. Campbell is going to end up in all-offense mode if the defense can’t make an adjustment quick. That means going for it on every plausible 4th down and an onside kick if we are down 10. The defense has to be better. Full stop.
  14. Knew we would need to score a lot but would prefer if the defense made the trip.
  15. Hell of a job by the offensive line on that first drive. Hutch needs to wake up. The preseason is over.
  16. I feel similar to this game as to how I felt going into Dallas in late 2023. May not be the better team in this moment, but should be able to take anything that comes our way and have a chance to win it. Lucky for us, we get old man Bill Vinovich tonight instead of Brad Allen.
  17. Of course he didn't, that's ridiculous. He just taught Penei Sewell, Frank Ragnow, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Jameson Williams, Jared Goff (of course), and Sam LaPorta everything they've ever known about football, and they're now doomed without him.... Actually add TeSlaa to that list too, just in case.
  18. NFL Hot Seat ON FIRE 1. Brian Dabboll (18-35-1): I don't think it's all his fault, but he's not helping either. He'll probably last the season, but there is no guarantee. Maybe he'll be fired after the Giants lose by 60 in Ford Field. 2. Mike McDaniel (28-26): His team has given up on him. I'd love to have him on the Lions staff as an offensive mind, but that Dolphins team is just so soft. I don't see him surviving into next season. The Dolphins need to blow it up and rebuild. RED HOT 3. Raheem Morris (13-18): Live by the 1st round QB, die by the 1st round QB. You can't lose 30-0 to the Panthers, bench your 1st round QB in the process, and not rise in these rankings. 4. Brian Callahan (3-17): The record speaks for itself. If he can't turn things around this season, and make Cam Ward look like an NFL QB, I don't think he'll get a second mulligan season. HOT 5. Zac Taylor (48-53-1): This is tough, but I don't think he gets forgiveness for Burrow's injury again, especially if they go down like they did today again. The defense is atrocious, and the offensive line is bad. Cincy will always love Taylor for the magical run a few years back, but this could be a landing spot for Brian Flores. 6. Kevin Stefanski (41-46): Today helps, but I don't see the year-end evaluation looking good. The Browns offense is terrible, and while that is mostly the fault of ownership and front office gross mismanagement with the Watson trade and deal, I'm not sure they'll keep Stefanski around for the rebuild. WARM 7. Dave Canales (6-14): I'm not sure the long-term vision of the Panthers, but today helps Canales more than Stefanski. If he can make the Panthers competitive this year, he's safe. 8. Shane Steichen (20-17): He's 3-0 this year so everyone is happy for now, but if he misses the playoffs I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts make a move. 9. Jonathan Gannon (14-23): Like Steichen, everyone is content in Glendale with them at 2-1. But if he can't make the playoffs in year three, there will be discussions about whether he is the right guy. WARMING 10. Kellen Moore (0-3): If there's a one-and-done out there this year, I think it's Moore. It's not even his fault, the Saints have an atrocious roster. But they're heading squarely towards 2-15 or worse, and that's hard to do without losing a locker room.
