    Yes, Stafford’s return is notable but the real question in this game is does Goff have the stone cold killer in him. He will need to be perfect to win, and to bury the narrative that he rode McVay’s coattails.

    I read that Dan Campbell said Rod Wood was handling the issue with the league. I wish I knew what that meant. Maybe during the draft, the Lions can have a video of their own queued up.

    Despite getting jobbed by the refs, and Goff’s two mistakes, this was a great game. Kept Dallas to half their season home field scoring average, even with one of their touchdowns coming on a fluke 92 yard TD pass. Melifonwu had another pick. Hutch heated up. Bring back McNeil, Ceedy Duce, and James Houston for the playoffs and let’s see.

    It is kind of misleading to say that since you can’t definitively rate players by using data that you shouldn’t use data.

    Even after his dismal night, Purdy still leads the NFL in passer rating (112.2). Goff is #6 (98.3). And Purdy still leads the NFL in QBR (71.7). Goff is #11 (59.6). Kid is really good. Looking at some numbers, one stood out to me. Goff is #3 in sack percentage (4.9%), behind only Josh Allen (3.8%) and Patrick Mahomes (4.2%).
