  1. Seems like tonight is the night that Purdy coughed up the MVP and Lamar nailed it down.
  2. But Purdy’s turnovers are coming against the Ravens so MVP voters should cut him some slack.
  3. Minnesota had only 17 rushing yards. Detroit had no answer for Justin Jefferson but they finally got home and sacked Mullens four times. Melifonwu has picked a great time to break out, and if the Lions get back Ceedy Duce next week, then McNeil and/or Houston for the playoff, that will be a huge shot in the arm.
  4. Yes, it was short, and was spotted short but then they gave him the first down. So I was confused when he spiked it.
  5. Lots could have been cleaned up in that game, but a division clinching win is a division clinching win. Would it have even been a game at all if Branch had wrapped up that INT on Minnesota’s first drive? But then JJ put the Vikes on his back. Even he couldn’t overcome four picks from St. Nick.
  6. He made at least three impossible catches.
  7. I believe that is four catches on four targets for Jaymo.
  8. Two delay of game penalties with a third averted by quick TO. Inexcusable.
  9. Ladies and gentlemen, Nick Mullins.
  10. I don’t know what that call was all about. But DL is playing solid today.
  11. I don’t think you can make that kind of decision in a fraction of a fraction of a second.
  12. Rookies gonna rookie. Holding on 3rd and goal, dropped INT, Jaymo got away with a fumble, Gibbs with a fumble.
  13. It’s uncouth. And yet still an improvement on that garish purple color. 🧐
  14. Honolulu blue against Minnesota’s awful purple? 🤮
  15. Belichick is reportedly making $20, Payton $18, Carroll $15, McVay $14, Tomlin $12.5. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/highest-paid-nfl-head-coaches/ Don't know if this is accurate, but seems truthy. Agree with those who say the HC role is a different deal than the coordinator role, and at least as many hot shot coordinators who get head coaching roles crash and burn as succeed. But clearly Ben is going to get multiple opportunities this time around, and there is almost no chance he won't take one. He's probably going to command six years, around $80 million.
  16. One. Billion. Dollars. $15 million is a lot of cheddar, but it wouldn’t put him at the top of the market. Near it, but not at it. Wouldn’t be surprising if someone offers it.
  17. https://www.mlive.com/lions/2023/12/qa-ceedy-duce-gives-wild-interview-on-injury-recovery-proving-the-haters-wrong.html This interview is insane.
