Noooo....I'm comparing a prospect who carried a 1st round grade in his draft year...was drafted in the 1st rd and now has two years of success in pro leagues against a guy who was and is not as highly rated. Augustine played well this year....so has Cossa. Its a great situation for the franchise....having two young goalies in the system with NHL potential. I' m not sure why some Wings fans are down on Cossa as prospect when he's progressed nicely since his draft year

Cossa has had two successful professional seasons...Augustine has had a good year in college. Im not trying to diminish him as a prospect..but I dont see any evidence to project him ahead of Cossa

At this point...Im more worried about his physical/ mental health

Not sure why you view Cossa as a bridge to a goalie who wasnt evaluated as highly and has less of a track record.

Cossa may be worth a look with the big club soon. The Wings/Griffs just signed Carter Gylander...so there's an extra goalie in GR

Put Brock Purdy on it...he had no trouble finding Sutton during the Championship

Yzerman played 14 years before winning a cup...11 before making the finals. He made the playoffs his rookie year. He understands that making the playoffs and exiting quickly is relatively meaningless against the challenge of being a real contender
