    ASP flashed offensive instincts on that goal that we haven't seen from a defenseman here in a bit. SY needs to make a deal for a solid 2nd pairing LHD as we do not have one anywhere in the system so far as i can tell.

    Seems like 3rd base has been an issue in Detroit more often than not since 1971. Rodriguez held things down really well for a bit and then you had a lot of guys coming and going...Brookens...Coles...Brown and Fryman in the 80's into the early 90's..then Palmer..Randa..and a list of ne'er do wells until Inge-Miggy-Castellanos.

    Hughes is better than ASP will likely ever be...the guy I'd hate to lose is Danielson. He's unique in our system because he's a RHC with some size who can skate and has some offensive upside that's already apparent. We have no one like that other than him But you have to give to get and it's hard to complain when you wind up with the best player in most trades. Sure would be nice to give them Kapser instead

    Philly hired Scot Loeffler to coach Hurts..of course he now sucks. That guy and his stupid offensive schemes drove me away from watching my alma mater, BGSU Eddie George and (especially) Pudge the cat brought me back
