    Wings mentioned as a possible landing spot for Erik Karlsson...SJ would have to retain salary and not want much in return...but getting the bulk of that contract off their books would be attractive for them

    Tork and Miggy picking it up roughly coincides with RG going out...if they can keep it up when he gets back...that's three potentially productive MLB hitters.

    Not a quality person...but the Tigers really screwed him over in 1969. I recall reading in Freehan's "Behind the Mask" how the team was pumping his shoulder full of cortisone to mask his shoulder injury and running him out there to pitch. Destroyed his arm...

    In the minors...he would get dialed in and hit them in bunches. What a boost to the offense if he starts doing that here

    IIRC...Stanley only finished at something like 35% at the rim in college. But that's from memory...Whitmore was more like 60%. I like him as an off the ball option on the wing. There's been talk about bringing Grant back to Detroit for big $$$...I don't recall him being particularly effective with Cade..or maybe Cade was more effective when Grant didn't play

    I vaguely recall really wanting to see the Tigers get guys like Jo Adell and Keston Hiura in deadline deals a few years ago. Florial seemed like an impossible ask. It really is a crapshoot...isn't it?

    I've head it said that in football...the biggest "competition gap" a player experiences is going from HS to Division 1...It seems like baseball has a larger gap even going from college to professional
