He just isn't the same player he was two years ago. Sounds like a lot of off court stuff going on in his life. He should just take a year off and figure it out.
-
A lot of rumors that Lebron is sleeping with his newest teammates mother.

Now I have to go to a Mavs board and post how happy I am with this trade. Odd day. -
5 next year should get you an excellent player. Not the prize heifer, but still really good.

So as someone that has watched every THJ game the past few years, he sucks. Can't (or wont) pass, cant drive, doesn't play any type of defense. 3-5 nights this season he will blow up and hang 40+, maybe even a 50 piece. But the other nights you will absolutely hate him with a red hot passion. As a bonus, his dad will bitch and moan about Detroit's coaches and/or players on social media and to any press that will listen. He seriously tried to say the Mavs were better without Luka. The Mavs have been attempting to trade him for years and nobody ever bit. You might flip him for some seconds at the deadline as an expiring. No contender will want him. The Mavs benched him in the playoffs because he is so bad. Giving up Grimes? Look, I don't think he is that good. But there was zero reason to trade him. Dallas had to move THJ so they could keep DJJ. Grimes will most likely have more value to a contender at the deadline than THJ will. A guy who plays decent defense with a decent three ball on a small contract is very valuable to teams entering playoff runs. Huge mistake to move him in this deal. -

Yeah, get the **** out now Cade. -
Crazy stat of the night. Every 2024 second round pick has been traded at least once.

Pistons should throw a 3/$90M offer his way. Still might not be enough. -
Jordan never had a kid drafted. His kid did rail Pippens ex-wife though. So he has that on LeBron.

Sounds like Filipowski is dropping because he has an older girlfriend that started grooming him in high school. Givony reported on it a few hours ago. Crazy stuff.
-
Pretty sure they are trying to get back under the second apron. They still have some work to do.
-
I don't value second round pics. So taking him and letting him sit out the entire year is fine.
-
I wouldn't be mad if they used that pick on Bronny to screw LeBron.

You will find a bunch of guys that improve 3-5 points on their 3PT%. The problem with Thompson and Holland is how bad they are starting out. 5 points for both of them doesn't even move the needle.
-
Beyond = as long as daddy owns the team.
-
I doubt he is ever a plus defender. But he does move fairly well for his size. He tested much better than Clingan in the agility drills at the combine.

Was it considered bad? I don't remember that. That draft had quite a few players I really wanted. Where this draft had almost nobody, even the top 4. 2020 turned out to be pretty good 4 years in. Just a shame Weaver missed on 2 of the 3 picks.
-
Her friend was much better looking and nobody is even talking about her. See, men really are about personality over looks!
-
I wonder if the Pelicans worked out and/or interviewed Holland? Langdon might of had access to that before he left for Detroit.
-
My winner of the draft: Lakers. Getting Knecht at 17 is stupid value. Also a perfect fit for that team. They are capped out and can't really do a ton to improve. So getting a guy who is ready to play today is big. Also putting an elite shooter around Lebron is always good. Loser of the draft: Washington. I don't like Sarr but its more than that. How do you end up with 3 first round picks in the worst draft in 30 years?
-
It should start where they talk about Detroit.
-
Honestly. The low BBIQ bugs me a lot more than the bad shooting.
-
Givony didn't like Holland either. Rated him 13th where Sam had him 10th. I don't really follow anyone else since I feel they are the the two best by quite a large margin. But they both have their misses every year. The draft is hard. Maybe things look different if Holland doesn't suffer that season ending injury and missed the last half of the year.
