    The Phoenix Suns are going to keep Royce O'Neale and will sign him to a new contract. That means in 2026 they are scheduled to have a half billion dollar payroll. Most of that will be in luxury tax penalties. This year's salary cap is expected to be around $143 million.

    Only thing I can think of. Brooklyn had turned down other offers and didn't need to trade him. That drove the price up a bit. I think someone said Atlanta gave up 4 firsts to get Murray.
