    I used to think the cap would catch up to OKC. They will have to dump older and more expensive players down the road. But that is what the mountain of 1st round picks is for. To replace those guys on cheap rookie contracts. It's a balancing act for sure, but Presti is one of the best drafting GM's in the league.

    I assume this will technically be two trades. Conley was traded yesterday and can't be packaged. Dieng was traded about 45 minutes ago and can't be packaged. So its probaly Conley for Sexton and White for Dieng.

    Boston scares the hell out of me. Well coached teams are hard to deal with in the playoffs. Last year's Indiana is a good example.

    They might have to trade a pick to dump him. Two and a half years left at around $43 million per. Nobody wants that on their roster.

    It will be a hard no from Memphis. But it would be worth a call to check on Santi Aldama's availability.

    Some of the games played numbers won't match up with this. But the rule is, if you are on the active roster for a game, it counts even if you don't play.

    Just looked it up, and this makes me cry. On 3PTA's where there is no defender within 6 feet of the shooter, Huerter is only shooting 32% for the season. That isn't a guy who plays on a bad team not getting good looks. That is a guy with a shooting problem.

    Ivey for Huerter is pretty irrelevant. Shuffling the deck chairs basically, although the Pistons are not the Titatnic. But its just two bad players switching teams, same length of contract so that doesn't matter. Maybe a change of scenery will help Huerter. Sometimes plugging a guy into a different system can trigger things in him other systems won't. I predicted after the trade deadline that Ivey would start to pile up DNP-CD's. So what do I care if he was traded?

    Jenkins will play his last game Thursday as a two-way player. They cut Saric (if he isn't traded) and convert Jenkins to a regular contract.

    Emergency backup in case of injuries or foul trouble. They already picked up his option for next season, so he will be back unless traded. Free agent summer of 2027 and will probably be gone then.
