  1. Btw, this Texas SD, is pretty much saying, with this new dress code, that girls (if they wear dresses/skirts/skirts) are responsible for whatever bad things might happen to them. That.is.the.message. ========================= “Forney ISD has banned all hooded clothing across its 18 schools along with dresses and skirts among its older students. The district, located about 25 miles east of Dallas, will also prohibit t-shirts and denim pants, among other specifications for next school year. Skirts can only be worn by students in prekindergarten through fourth grade.” ======================== btw, on what f’ing alternate universe is a 4th grader (9-10 yrs old) an “OLDER” student???? Again. Girls fault.
  2. Seems you’ve missed MY point, too.
  3. Until they pass laws that can/will identify prescription holders and then prosecute them for murder. Far-fetched? You know it isn’t
  4. Btw, if I seem calm…. I’m not.
  5. So…. It’s women’s fault. How are they getting impregnated? As far as I’ve heard, there’s only been one immaculate conception. At this rate, The Handmaid’s Tale novel, however, will need to be moved from the fiction category sooner than expected. That said, I am not ready to prepare our daughters, nieces, granddaughters to accept second class citizenship. I will be fighting for them. As should you.
  6. Don’t do that. Do not change the text of people’s actual post. That’s wrong. You have to know that. I would like you to delete your post quoting Archie’s answer…. With YOUR changes. I can’t believe I even have to say this. Delete it. Now.
  7. Times Square is going to become even more interesting.
  8. Cognitive Dissonance will make your eyes explode. Just sayin.
  9. It was an AP article…. This is an article from “The Atlantic” by David A. Graham: Title: “The Comment That Reveals the Depths of the Republican Party’s Moral Collapse” - If even Rusty Bowers is willing to back Trump again, the outlook for popular democracy is very bleak. Finding signs to worry about the future of American democracy is not hard, but few are quite so painful and acute as the cognitive dissonance displayed by Rusty Bowers this week. (Sorry, can’t post a link, but you can look it up - short article.)
  10. I’d happily eat crow if that happens.
  11. Unless they (the committee) has some hidden Pence concubines to threaten him & mother with, can’t see him sitting in that chair, prime-time or otherwise, no matter how much we all would love to see it. 😂
  12. That will never happen
  13. I would have expected him to offer an answer of “I will vote for the Republican candidate as long as it’s not Donald J Trump”. I’m just shocked that after all this man personally did to him and his family, he would consider letting him hold that high office. I don’t get it. I just don’t get it
  14. I’m somewhat shocked to have read in an article this morning (can’t find it now, but will continue looking), that Mr. Bowers opinion,….. even after that gut-wrenching testimony yesterday, …. is that if Trump were to run again in 2024, he would, in fact, vote for him over Biden. How do you even process that?
  15. This country is so screwed up.
  16. In all honesty, when Shaye was talking about getting that phone call from her grandmother? I about lost it. I would’ve been down at my grandmother’s, & would’ve ripped the heads off every person that was in front of my grandmothers house and scaring her. It is stories like this that should make people like Giuliani etc. at least feel some shame! But they won’t.
  17. I have more fucks to give. 😂 Maybe later
  18. How can anyone listen to any of that 67 minute phone call with Raffensperger and listen to Trump, absolutely losing his mind, and not be reminded of a petulant three-year-old having a fucking tantrum. Are we really going to allow this motherfucker to run again? I’m sickened ….. every day it becomes more horrific
  19. Powerful testimony from Bowers. Powerful
  20. Everyone knows this… unfortunately, nobody cares. How sad is that?
  21. He absolutely IS scarier than Trump because he’s learned from Trump’s mis-steps, and he’s a hell of a lot smarter than 45. He’s also crueler. And, there’s people who will be tapped by him for an administration that have the same mindset and are more government savvy than anyone of 45’s minions. Scary, indeed.
  22. For those who watch msnbc, I’m noticing that Nicole Wallace is looking skeletal… has anyone heard if she’s been I’ll? Or has a medical issue? I haven’t been watching for a while, but tonight I have been.. and I somewhat surprised/concerned seeing her.
  23. (…. Um, I might have to fess up to this one)
  24. ……. And this is pretty much why this virus will continue to mutate and mutate and mutate.
