OK, this is total randomness. I never really have a reason to watch a college football game, but my cousin‘s son (does this make him my second cousin, or a cousin once removed? I can never figure that out), is the new defensive coordinator at Rutgers, who is (unbelievably) now a Big 10 team. They beat Boston College today (and I have no idea whether they should have, or they did well to do so), but I thought the defense was 👍👍. I know they’ll have a very hard time with Big 10 teams, but today’s game was totally watchable. 😁

Honestly, why on earth would anything he said get them “riled up”? He spoke to people who would defend the capital police ATTACKERS being called patriots. Are you saying that in your experience THAT is what vets you know are thinking?? I give veterans more credit than that.

Let’s take a deep breath here. I’m fairly certain that those who actually watched the speech know that he made a distinction between what was a threat, as opposed to people who have a different opinion. So, let’s just stop the f bombs against each other here. It’s ugly, and not a great way to further discourse. It’s a show-stopper, and totally not appreciated.

Tonight, I’m having a throwback to my growing up Friday night supper was when I was a kid. They were of course, meatless suppers, back in the day. So the sauce my mom would make is a marinara sauce with fresh zucchini in it. That over a bowl of linguine or penne With a little grated cheese on top, was heaven. Just because I like spicy, I add some red pepper flakes, fresh basil to. I also had so many fresh little cherry tomatoes, that I added about 2 cups of that also. Very simple supper but the best. EVOO, garlic, tomatoes, zucchini, basil.

Disgusting!! Ugh.

…. And most of the country won’t care, because it’s New York City, and who cares about those people anyway. … and, this, too. ( although even if it was a Republican mayor, he would be a RINO)

I’m so happy for both of you, ❤️❤️ … and I’m also really struggling with not having a dog right now. I know it’s the right thing for my older cat to not have to get used to another dog (especially since my cat has no claws… so can’t defend himself if a new addition to the family isn’t “cat friendly “) …. I had a boxer - adopted her at 8 yrs old, but they are “puppy-like” always. 😂 So funny… and nutty.
