  1. Left $140 on the table 😅
  2. Torkmoil is the only one reporting it so take it with a grain of salt.
  3. I generally prefer Fangraphs over MLB if possible so here is their write up on Jimenez. 28. Enrique Jimenez, C Signed: International Signing Period, 2023 from Venezuela (DET) Age 19.4 Height 5′ 10″ Weight 195 Bat / Thr S / R FV 35+ Tool Grades (Present/Future) Hit Raw Power Game Power Run Fielding Throw 20/40 40/45 20/40 30/30 40/50 50 Jimenez is an undersized switch-hitting catcher prospect who makes an exciting amount of hard contact for a young hitter his size, it’s just often on the ground. Jimenez slashed .242/.366/.376 on the Lakeland complex in 2024 but posted an impressive 42% hard-hit rate. He isn’t an especially projectable athlete at a stocky 5-foot-9, and while it’s amazing that he had a hard-hit rate that sizeable given his physique, it’s tough to project big long-term power for such a small guy. Jimenez also has developing to do on defense; he’s not a great ball-blocker right now and lacks the size of a prototypical catcher. He could conceivably be a Garrett Stubbs type of backup.
  4. So I do want to point out that it's been reported that both Tampa Bay and New York were also in on Paddack so it's not like there was no other interest in him.
  5. Honestly, I don't hate it. He's a solid #5 and who knows, maybe Fetter can work his magic.
  6. Traded from depth
  7. Some interesting things I was looking up about a couple of prospects I have been keeping tabs on. Pacheco must hate even months. April .212/.366/.364 May .337/.440/.627 June .227/.370/.394 July .341/.492/.545 He also hates playing at home .255/.390/.404 vs .311/.442/.576 Away Liranzo has increased his BA each month, all while having only 9 AB's against pitchers younger than him. April .180/.315/.344 May .231/.359/.423 June .242/.377/.435 July .288/.360/.424

  10. I'm not sure if you are serious about this but this would be an incredible overpay.

  12. I would agree but the highest paid baseball player from an NIL standpoint would have to play 8 years to get the amount of money he would have gotten in the 2nd round (1.9 million).
  13. One of the rare times that a team won't sign someone in the top 10 rounds. To make it a little more funny, at least to me is he keeps retweeting things about how this is a huge blow to the Pirates draft. My guess is they may have lowballed him and he said ok well I will just go to college and bet on myself.

  15. I mean they have broken news such as call ups, I know he is mainly a Internet scraping account but 🤷‍♂️. That post made sense to me.
  16. Take this with a grain of salt but here is the scouting report from TigersMLReport. Seems to be a soft tossing lefty which I am always wary about in the low minors. https://tigersmlreport.com/2025/03/16/micah-ashman-scouting-report-detroit-tigers/

  18. 3rd rounder has been signed now as well.
