  1. “Buck Melanoma. Moley Russell’s wart”. I feel fortunate to run with my wife who you all know is medical and we also run with a friend who is a doctor. I joke with them that their job is to check me out for moles”.
  2. Where do you get this utter nonsense? I guess everyone is making it all up. Seriously. It’s impossible to be this stupid.
  3. There was a radio station contestant who died during a water drinking contest. Family sued.
  4. Based on my 91 year old mom… I believe it. My mother in law took care of 2 uncles and they both would not drink water. “Chrissy…. I need to go to the hospital?” “why?” ”I’m lightheaded and kind of dizzy” ”what did you eat and drink today?” ”I had half a muffin and coffee” keep in mind it’s 2 pm and like 90 degrees out.
  5. Sometimes I wish Brandon would make these idiots grovel a little.
  6. I want to see a list of everyone who has died from drinking water.
  7. Yes. “Two more patients died today” is a common thing I hear. Imagine the emotional toll of working with people, taking with them, seeing progress, trying to help, then they die. Every day. To us they are nameless stats. To hospital staffs they are people they interact with all day long.
  8. Yep. Although my wife is a therapist. same drill though. Lots of heavy lifting of patients helping them do therapy etc. Sometimes she comes home and then says “I haven’t peed all day”. She does though get to sit for about 20 minutes to each a lunch she packs. But she’s doing charts when eating.
  9. Did you guys get tested because of symptoms or because you were around someone positive or as a precaution? So many scenarios are playing out. Doc friend told me of families where all have colds and one will test, get a negative, then they all assume negative. Not quite correct. Can’t rely on a single test for multiple people. Could have been flawed.
  10. Yeah. She’s tougher than you. Quit being such a whiney little baby. Her job is harder than yours. I guarantee it.
  11. It wasn’t. Sounds like your bosses are on some power trip and can’t imagine having to back track.
  12. I have little patience for babies that complain about having to wear a mask all day. My wife’s been doing it since this began while dealing first hand with the idiots and their families. Seriously. Grow the fuck up and get some balls.
  13. Also with regard to all this testing… how much of it is in response to symptoms or being exposed? Wonder come January 2 if the lure and demand to get tested drops dramatically as people are not being proactive because of a party or gathering coming up? Or being reactive because they were exposed?
  14. Learned something today with regard to hospital numbers. If a COVID patient is there longer than 21 days then they are considered “recovered”. Even though they are still hospitalized because of what COVID did to them… but they don’t have COVID anymore.
  15. The thing with hospitalization numbers is why they are there. Because of this spreading so fast many people are in there for other reasons but also testing positive. But it’s not why they are there. Not every place splits that out. Been reading some positive news today about T cells doing a good job and shorter hospital stays. Frankly the case numbers are probably only half of what’s real considering asymptomatic and “I can’t find a test” and home tests not being logged.
  16. Lack of leaders was also an issue. Not a lack of parents telling us what we should be doing CV though.
  17. Ah. That said I don’t doubt for a second she is a legit positive. It’s certainly possible.
  18. my 21 year old was in scouts through age 14. But with sports it got to be too much. There’s not as many kids today. Not as many leaders. And the kids are busy with other things. Scouts took a lot of time.
  19. Usually Republicans pose with guns for Christmas family photos
  20. How long ago was the first? Sometimes it sticks around for tests but you don’t have it and are not contagious.
  21. Harvesting is the keyword and thwir buzzword. As if you are out there planting and gathering votes that otherwise wouldn’t be cast and shouldn’t be cast.
  22. Keith is a lunatic.
  23. I took Vicodin once and hated how it made me feel. It didn’t dull the pain but made me not care about the pain. Or anything else. My wife took the bottle to work to dispose of.
  24. I feel fortunate to have been represented by someone who knew my name. I met her a few times before she got elected after John retiree. Rotary type events. A good friend was on city council and introduced us at one. We served beer together. When I saw her again she remembered my name. Even in my GOP days I gladly voted for John. Was very upset to walk into my booth in 2002 and see Conyers name listed. John did have an A+ rating from the NRA before they went batshit crazy.
  25. Hope it passes fast with no long term effects
