and the joke was that UM's DEI program hardly moved the needle for Black enrolment. The factors that matter there are largely outside the University and no amount of training, programming, or navel gazing taking place by people sitting in A^2 (good or bad) has any impact on that at all. I often though the best thing the U could have done to improve minority enrolment was take all that DEI money and use it to open it's own charter schools in Det, Pontiac, Flint.

If you think you have a shot at a no-hitter if anything you want to try to stay even and let it come to you - especially in this era were just getting to 9 is going to be a huge extra effort.

he's reminds me a little of where Mize was in when he started out. He gets ahead of hitters but the hitters know he going to throw out of the zone when he's ahead so they spit on his breaking ball - in Mizes case it was the split. Then he gets frustrated and throws a mistake. Guys with great breaking balls or splitters have to prove they can get guys out in the zone when they get to the majors. Jobe has to throw more strikes ahead in the count.
