  1. Georgia has always scared me because, like a lot of states in the south, it doesn't have a huge history of crossover voting - it tends to be more straight ticket voting as opposed to split tickets. And Kemp, for better or worse, is likely to win reelection regardless of the Senate race. Having said that, the state is changing.... it's become more diverse, especially in Atlanta and the surrounding suburbs, and they generally nominate better candidates than Walker. And the Walker stuff, while it won't turn off most who would vote for him, in a race this close and where a runoff was always a likely result, the allegations really could make a difference on the margins and could be the difference between a Walker win, a runoff, or a Warnock win. The margins coming into this week were that close, every little bit matters.
  2. I could go either way with it.... the idea of the wants and desires of a politician (or in this case, a wannabe politician) running counter to the desires of children or family of politicians seems entirely believable. Especially in the case of Walker, who by all accounts seems to be an odious person in real life.
  3. Herschel's son is off the bandwagon apparently
  4. One of the more surprising Scorigamis...
  5. Real coming out party for Hockenson... my goodness
  6. Eric Haase being their best performing regular in 2022 will never be more surprising to me... I wanted to fire him out of a cannon after that play in Minnesota early in the year, but credit where it is due. He has picked it up
  7. Now a 1st and 20... would it be too much to ask???
  8. Almost like a Detroit curse at this point haha
  9. On the bright side, Alex Lange is dealing again lol
  10. There's enough to complain about with this team, just don't understand why we need to invent complaints with a guy who played pretty well in the first half.
  11. Assumed they would hit the PAT lol
  12. Goff may be mediocre, but he's also one of the few reasons this is a one score game
  13. This is a far better than the Patricia era... It's just that the heightened expectations, set in part by playmakers that currently are not playing in this game, are not being met. It feels like progress tbh, although I understand why many are impatient
  14. Say what you want about the Tigers and their struggles, but they are apparently a better product than the football team today
  15. Jinxed Wentz unfortunately... umpire has really jammed him a lot this inning
  16. Joey Wentz keeps impressing... are we underselling his potential?
  17. Baddoo has options left - zero reasons why they should DFA him.
  18. He's still a headache in building out the 2023 roster. But if the PBO who has been hired to fix this thing is saying he can work around it, we should be able to live with that. I do worry about the idea that he could have it forced on him from Pizza Jr, then again conversations about Miguel undoubtedly happened during the interview process so that seems unlikely to me
  19. So I'm sitting here watching Kentucky-Ole Miss, and ESPN cuts in for Aaron Judge in his pursuit for 62 home runs. Why?
