  1. I wouldn't mind seeing Brendon Davis at some point, but otherwise, this is true.... Clemens is here (and hasn't been good), and we know what Zack Short can do.
  2. I get it.... the bigger point is the status quo kinda needs to be rocked at this point. Whether that comes in the form of Coolbaugh being a sacrificial lamb or a surprise DFA (ie. Grossman). At least as an outside observer, guys just appear to be way too comfortable with the **** results.
  3. I don't know if they need a different manager, but I don't know how anyone can watch this ****show at this point and not be willing to look at Hinch and his role in all of this. Particularly given that Coolbaugh is still employed and Hinch is probably the biggest factor in that still being the case.
  4. I remember being told a few times in 2003 how it was a bold move to be wearing my Tigers hat around.... It just is what it is.... I wasn't born a Dodgers fan, unfortunately. lol
  5. Why not both? We can talk talent all we want, but you've got numerous guys who aren't performing up to their career norms and appear to be exhibiting a lack of any sort of urgency to correct them. The status quo, which appears to be having ping pong tourneys, isn't gonna cut it.
  6. I can't believe that someone was paid good money to waste time on this graphic lol....
  7. Maybe Dan Campbell could break the Ping Pong table lol
  8. This team has an incredible inability to read the room lol
  9. Philosophically, I tend to lean more toward the AJ style than the Jimmy Smokes style... but this team badly needs a Jimmy Smokes moment to light a fire under them. It's not a good or bad thing per se, more of a style thing, but it's not something that AJ is gonna do.
  10. That team was what it was... one with little expectations.
  11. Was too young to remember much of that season.... Pretty much the inverse of 2022 tho, decent to good offense, terrible pitching.
  12. Tonight reminded me a little bit of the Baltimore game where Soto lost control, but in that one he got Vest up in a hurry and brought him out. I dont know why he couldn't have done that with Vest tonight... he didn't pitch last night iirc. And you have your best pitcher going tomorrow
  13. I'm invested in two tickets next month in Chicago while visiting family. Beginning to wonder whether the time would be better spent going literally anywhere else in that city lol
  14. I'm hesitant because recency bias is a real thing, but honestly I'm not sure I've hated a Tiger team more than this one. Maybe hate is too strong of a word, but I at least hate watching this stuff more than the others... And I was here for 2003 and 2008 too. I'm happy for the individual performances and growth of players like Skubal, Brieske, Faedo, Lange, Vest, etc. But the rest of this product largely sucks to watch.
  15. Yeah, they completely wasted Brieske's outing as well. He legit looked good tonight, deserved the W, but the lack of any spark offensively kills
  16. Omg, roboumps
  17. Vest and Fulmer as well
  18. If you are a lefty reliever who struggles and can't pitch to left handed batters, you probably shouldn't be a closer. Like, that's where the walks and HBP happened. Unreal
  19. Also, Beau Brieske getting attention from Pitching Ninja... did not see that coming lol
  20. Fantastic outing for Brieske... his third in a row against a top-flight offense
  21. CJ Nitkowski talking about how he's surprised the Tigers don't have someone up. Do a little advanced research guy... the bullpen has been kinda taxed lately lol
  22. Wrong part of the yard Javy!
  23. Brieske may be the only Tiger playing with passion at this point... love the effort
  24. Sounds like they should have discussed ignoring Coolbaugh at their "players only" meeting lol
