  1. No joke...
  2. If you see Johnny Kane, run far far away haha
  3. I smell 3-4 with a homerun in our future.
  4. Haven't watched much Rays this year, did not realize that guys like Keirmaier and Arozarena have been off to slow starts
  5. I went a few times when I was younger and had family living in the area.... it gets more hell than it deserves (the sightlines were good, it is designed for baseball unlike other multi-purpose domes were, etc.), but yeah, it's a bit bland design wise (unless you like concrete lol)
  6. Dos Castros while playing in Florida.... bold move AJ!
  7. Oh, The Trop..... Not the best baseball stadium.... but still way better than the old Homerdome was up in Minneapolis!
  8. He's been getting utility sort of play since last year. Doesn't matter, as it appears that Daz is gonna be the callup for the OF spot.
  9. I guess my question comment was more about when would be a realistic time frame to get Pineda back... just the description of the injury and where it occurred makes me think third set, but I'm not an MD. I just think he occupies a critical role in the rotation and, without him, we are kinda hoping that the other two young'uns can eat innings like he can. Candy has been better with the bat for sure, but the defensive lapses aren't helping to make the case that he's a long term solution at the moment.
  10. Mike Drumright.... that's a name I didn't want to be reminded of lol
  11. Is Pineda in the second set? I don't know much about hand fractures or the grade of fracture he had, but it makes me nervous that it's his throwing hand. Out of all the injuries they've had since the season started, his is low-key one of the worst.... the Tigers have thus far been able to avoid the trap of being stuck with bullpen days and have been able to keep their bullpen relatively fresh, but this will test that.
  12. Kody can play both positions that Austin Meadows can, and as an added benefit can man first base (where Tork has struggled a good amount recently). The team seems content with Hill/Willi in CF, and on the outs with Cameron. Seems like a no-brainer to me, even though the consensus seems to be on Cameron coming up.
  13. The articles I've read about the shooting in California indicate have indicated that he was Asian.
  14. Even with them, there's a good argument to adding in the outfield this upcoming offseason (particularly if Grossman walks), but as far as a trade, that seems like it would be a waste.
  15. Makes sense... Binghamton is right on the border
  16. They have done the trade approach as well... the Brewers trading Reese Olson for Daniel Norris comes to mind. (Still blows my mind that they got anything of value for Norris, let alone an above average pitching prospect)
  17. The Jobe pick was risky, I would have went a different direction as well. I just sort of think this conversation about not building around pitching gets too distilled down to "dont draft pitching in the first round". But depending on how your board looks, maybe you have to in some cases.
  18. Yeah, not a chance....
  19. I guess it depends on what "building around" means... are we talking about just not focusing on pitching in the first couple of rounds or just primarily not drafting much pitching at all?
  20. Could finally be Kody Clemens' chance lol
  21. Maybe the most 2022 MLB thing we've seen yet!
