Last trade deadline, they made ALL of their young players untouchable. They still made the playoffs but their lack of pitching did them in. I think maybe the Tigers had offered them Flaherty.
I could see the NFL draft 1st round lasting a month sometime in the future. One 1st round pick per day. They can have a 3 hour show discussing who will get picked and after, discussing the player picked. Then discuss the next days pick. It's bad enough they'll start having next year's mock drafts...next week.
My dad used to say "quit crying before I give you something to cry about." The Pistons should tell Brunson "quit flopping before we give you something to flop about." Lol
I was hoping to watch the draft but the talking heads on ESPN are all giggling like 13 year olds. Extremely irritating, had to turn it off. I'll just read the draft tomorrow, I won't watch those idiots.
Gambling and illegal substance suspensions but did he also get a DUI? I don't remember that one. He did get pretty lucky on not getting charged for a concealed gun.
Because it was his own fault runs scored. His job is to get batters out, if he fails, those runs should be earned. I'm not saying it makes sense, i seldom do. 😅
I was always under the assumption that players selected in the rule 5 draft had to stay on the roster all season or else offered back to the team they were picked from. I never heard about waivers or allowing to be traded. There was a video on social media of Vest in the BP in Seattle and a coach telling him he better get it together or they would send him back to Detroit. 😅
I wonder if there's a number of innings they have in mind? 125? 150? If so, they'll have to shut him down at some point. Montero and Cobb will have to come thru for us.
