    Yeah, Keith maybe. But Tork, Greene, Carpenter, Meadows, Javy and Rogers all had experience and most of them found their groove after a sliw start. Except for Javy. And Rogers. Their slow offense makes their hitting now very exciting. But it's their pitching that is hard to believe. A bunch of no name relievers pitching lights out. Jeez...we're gonna win the division next season. 😆

    Yeah, it kinda didn't make a ton of sense. Great story idea but it shoulda just been a 90 minute movie.

    And he's not even known for his scrambling ability. We'll see how the Lions D does against a real mobile QB.

    But sportswriters vote for the Cy Young award. Stats are meaningless to many of them. It's the same reason Lou Whitaker isnt in the HOF.

    I binged a show from there called Dark Matter. It started out pretty good and it was a good story line but it kinda dragged on...

    I don't know....I really don't want them trading young talent for established and expensive players. And I don't think Harris is the type who spends crazy money building a team. The Tigers success wouldn't be as noticeable if it weren't for the Twins tanking.

    I hope Skubal gets an extra start but I'm not if the Tigers would give him extra rest or not.

    Yes, tied at this point in the season. But looking at the remaining schedules, I really like the Tigers odds. It's good the Twins are in Boston while we're in Baltimore. Come back to Detroit to face Tampa and the WSox while the Twins are at home against the Marlins and Orioles. The Tigers are surging and the Twins are sinking.

    I don't think this team will just be happy getting into the playoffs. I'm sure their goals are much higher. My question is, are they going to come back next year like the Lions did after finishing 8-2 to end the 2022 season?

    I remember the "good old days" when Tiger excitement was so high that we had to have special off day threads...good times.

    I don't see it happening, too much money. Hopefully, 6 games of 35k crowds in the last 6 games may convince Chris to spend some big bucks...

    Yeah, a sweep. But just winning 2 of 3 would still leave us 3 games back with 6 games remaining. It would take a 1987 Toronto like collapse. Possible but improbable.

    Many of these kids all played together at the minor league level. That really does seem to make a difference. But these no-name BP arms that are lights out? I think Fetter uses voodoo or something, it's really quite amazing.

    Baltimore plays a day game today. It wouldn't upset me if they go 15 innings and use up ALL their pitchers...

    Arizona is pretty good on offense. Rookie Marvin Harrison Jr. can be a handful. And Murray is scary when he scrambles. Maybe Hutch needs to introduce himself, up close and personal? 😅😅
