  1. Lodging included...wow, 2 of the most expensive places in the U.S. Has anyone on MTS ever gone on one of these trips?
  2. Lmao...yeah, I meant youtubeTV has the NFL Sunday Ticket...a brain fart. I may get it this year, they just sent me an email with a "special" offer. $179 for Sunday Ticket or $219 for Sunday Ticket+RedZone. I've never had either so I have to read opinions.
  3. It's why the experiment ended. The kid is a weapon on the bases but at the top of the order, he was a bust. Even at the bottom of the order, he doesn't get on base. Having Riley get so many hits with the bases empty is a waste. The better Greene does, the less I like him batting first with so many black holes in front of him.
  4. My brother has Hulu live and loves it. Does Comcast still limit the data on their internet? It used to be 2 GB per month. I'm not sure how much data streaming uses per hour. I've heard 4k TVs use much more data. And I think Yahoo now has the Sunday Ticket...I may get it next season.
  5. Yeah, it didn't work out for Meadows. My only point is that IF he was getting on base, the Tigers would be a much better offensive team. It looks like Hinch tried him at leadoff for the first couple of weeks, up until the Pittsburgh series. It just didn't work out...
  6. But that spot would be Urshela. Unless they send Meadows down when they activate him. But yeah, I agree we would need a 1st baseman. But....Tork ain't going nowhere.
  7. It's a bargain for somebody who doesn't go to games. $20 a month to see 20 to 30 games? Yes please. Plus...how else would we watch the Pistons? 🤣🤣
  8. No, it was Urshela. He probably just filled in a few innings but he wouldn't be replacing a gold glove defender. : )
  9. Canha played first base but didn't Ibanez play there a few times? We gotta have somebody who can, the way Hinch has guys that can play multiple positions. Long term, maybe not. But for a couple of weeks, maybe?
  10. Google takes money for putting places in front. I don't like it when the first few links are YouTube videos. Sometimes I just want to read something and not hear someone bugging you to "like" this video and "subscribe" to them. Long winded know it all's....
  11. He hit leadoff in at least 2 of the first 3 games this season.
  12. Didn't Hinch lead him off the 1st few games of the year? If he could manage to get on base, we could be an offensive force.
  13. I agree. I love the defense Meadows gives us but how much better can we be offensively compared to the loss on defense? I would say we can cover CF and we end up plus on offense. Meadows has to hit and be our leadoff hitter. If he could produce at the top of the order, our lineup would/could score tons of runs!
  14. Unless you want to pay $20 more per month. You can add the Bally app to your phone or PC.
  15. I use a Roku and it has the Bally Detroit app. It's $20 per month and the user interface totally stinks. I end up watching mostly on my PC now, it's the only way I can accurately fast forward. The Roku runs all the way to the end if you try to fast forward. Highly unrecommended.
  16. They better give folks a big monthly credit. I ditched Xfinity last fall and went with WOW as my internet, Yahoo TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime and the Bally app. All for half what I was paying per month to Commiecast. I miss the Comcast box and UI but not at that cost.
  17. Yup. I remember last year, we all knew if he kept hitting the ball so hard, he was going to have success. Hated to see him making outs when he was crushing the ball but we knew what was coming. This year, he just looks lost at the plate.
  18. This reminds me of my nephew in San Francisco. He asked his mom (my sis in law)..."Mom, there's a town in Michigan called Bad Ass, isn't there?" Yeah, he meant Bad Axe. 🤣🤣
  19. Whatever he's doing, he's doing wrong. Not using his legs? Did he learn anything from Miggy? Cabrera was just a shell of himself once his legs started betraying him. Hitters need a good foundation to drive the ball.
  20. A home run hits your neighbors roof! TBH, I would also not be too happy.
  21. Forget that working the count stuff. I saw him take a juicy fastball at the middle of the plate yesterday. He's a mess at the plate right now. Thinking top much. See ball, hit ball...simplify.
  22. Did he hit any of his home runs last year to the opposite field? It seems like he has plenty of power to hit them out. Miggy should gave taught him. 😁
  23. It sounds like he'll get the chance to. Hinch sounds like he's sticking with him for the duration. He had an interview that aired during the game. Better hope he starts hitting for power because he's our 1st baseman.
  24. Well, Goff is under contract for 2024 so if we did franchise him, it would be for next year. So we could have him for 2 more seasons. But we'll extend him so that is all irrelevant. If Holmes and the coaches thought we could get the same production from someone for much less, they probably would. But with the fans chant Goff's name, it would be extremely unpopular.
